*Read about and discuss dinosaur discoveries. *Compose questions by putting the words in the correct order.
*Write about the dinosaur. *Ask and answer “wh” questions in the past tense.

Listening: Dinosaurs, Dinosaur Q and A, Use of Simple Past, Use of could and couldn't, Writing: Dinosaur in your garden

Class: Grade 3 Date: Feb. 26 – March 2, 2017 LB Page: AB Page: Period: Duration: 40 mins/day Objectives: At the lessons students should be able to… *Ask and answer questions about dinosaurs. *Listen to dinosaur facts. *Talk about time and dates. *Speak about inventions in chronological order. *Describe and compare dinosaurs. *Use could and couldn’t in a sentence. *Read about and discuss dinosaur discoveries. *Compose questions by putting the words in the correct order. *Write about the dinosaur. *Ask and answer “wh” questions in the past tense. Anticipated Problem: Unwanted misbehavior in the class Difficulty in understanding the text Difficulty in writing Difficulty in answering the activity Possible Solutions: Proper classroom management Explain and simplify it for better understanding Give more time to students Give struggling students one-on-one assistant during independent working time Aids/Materials Board, board markers, notebook, Language book, practice book, weekly plan with spelling words, computer and overhead projector, speaker, worksheets. New Vocabulary: dinosaur – fossil, mud – sand – bones – teeth – footprints – tracks – tail - nest

Tell the class to predict the answers in each questions in the story. Explain what Q and A stands for. Ask learners to find things that dinosaurs couldn’t do. Tell learners that they are going to read to some information about the dinosaurs they see in the picture. Ordering the words and writing in their notebook. Listening attentively in the discussion. Answering AB page 65. Participating in the class discussion Share their ideas about the picture. Speaking about inventions in chronological order.
