2. Questionnaires
To decide on our target audience we
created a questionnaire with several
questions that we handed out to students
and teachers.
We decided to use open and closed
questions which gave us a range of
information to make our decision.
3. According to the results, we
mainly asked 16-17 years old
which gave us an idea that
our target audience should be
from 16 and upwards. This
helped us to create our
opening sequence with
conventions based on that
age range.
We asked people what their
favourite sub-genre is and we got
the most popular answer as
psychological. We decided to
stick with this and make our
opening a psychological thriller.
This helped us to see what our
target audience (16-17) are
interested in, so we can make a
opening with that sub-genre that
is interesting.
4. We asked out audience “What do you
like about thrillers?”
The popular answers were:
- Build suspense
- Create tension
- Music and good acting
- Camera
- Cliff hangers
