 From the literature review it is not a new technology ,
nowadays very famous for the purpose of making fuel.
 From the literature review, the pyrolysis reaction
consists of three progressive steps:
1.initiation
2.propagation,
3.termination.
 It is an method of producing fuel from
the plastic waste.
 Plastic waste are collected from various
places.
 Method involve in this process is
PYROLYSIS
 Greek word i.e. PYRO – heat , LYSIS – break down.
 Endothermic reaction
 Normally pyrolysis is carried out in two ranges:-
 Low temperature pyrolysis
 High temperature pyrolysis
We can not burn.
We can not dispose
Cause the pollution.
Not degradable
product.
Product obtained
are:-
Fuel
Gas
char
 The main objectives of this study
were to understand and optimize
the processes of plastic
pyrolysis.
 To maximizing the diesel range
products.
 to design a continuous pyrolysis
apparatus as a semi-scale
commercial plant.
 To study effects of other factors
like type of reactor, catalyst,
pressure and reflux rate .
 Low temperature pyrolysis in which the average reaction temperature is around 500 ° C.
 High temperature pyrolysis in which the average reaction temperature is around 900° C.
 Following are the methods of use:-
1. Destrugas system.
2. Garetts flash pyrolysis process
3. Process develop by ERCBM, Pittsburg.
• Pyrolysis has been attracting much attention due to high
efficiency & good environmental performance
characteristics.
• It also provides an opportunity for the processing of solid waste
into clean energy.

Pyrolysis

  • 2.  From the literature review it is not a new technology , nowadays very famous for the purpose of making fuel.  From the literature review, the pyrolysis reaction consists of three progressive steps: 1.initiation 2.propagation, 3.termination.
  • 3.  It is an method of producing fuel from the plastic waste.  Plastic waste are collected from various places.  Method involve in this process is PYROLYSIS
  • 4.  Greek word i.e. PYRO – heat , LYSIS – break down.  Endothermic reaction  Normally pyrolysis is carried out in two ranges:-  Low temperature pyrolysis  High temperature pyrolysis
  • 5. We can not burn. We can not dispose Cause the pollution. Not degradable product.

  • 8.  The main objectives of this study were to understand and optimize the processes of plastic pyrolysis.  To maximizing the diesel range products.  to design a continuous pyrolysis apparatus as a semi-scale commercial plant.  To study effects of other factors like type of reactor, catalyst, pressure and reflux rate .
  • 9.  Low temperature pyrolysis in which the average reaction temperature is around 500 ° C.  High temperature pyrolysis in which the average reaction temperature is around 900° C.  Following are the methods of use:- 1. Destrugas system. 2. Garetts flash pyrolysis process 3. Process develop by ERCBM, Pittsburg.
  • 10. • Pyrolysis has been attracting much attention due to high efficiency & good environmental performance characteristics. • It also provides an opportunity for the processing of solid waste into clean energy.
