2. My Motivation
My old roommate took this course two years ago
and referred me to it. I also feel that I wanted to take
this class to see what it would offer to me. I’ve
always wanted to learn about new technology that
we’ve gotten in the last 5 years and how I could use
it to my benefit.
4. Thoughts on learning
preferences
I believe that every student should take that survey
to see where their weaknesses and strong points
are in the classroom for learning. Why would
someone that scored a 11 on visual continue to use
audio preference for learning? With knowing your
preferences you are able to work on areas you didn’t
even know that could affect your learning.
5. My learning
pathway
My learning pathway I chose in
the beginning of the semester
was Learning warrior because I
wanted to become an expert in
just a few things. But at the end, I
felt I had more of a learning sage
pathway because I dipped in
learning multiple technologies.
6. Activities
With so many activities, and different technologies I
wanted to learn about, I really wanted to dip into
each one.
With doing Level 2 activities such as predict
use, and evaluate, I transferred from Learning
Warrior to Learning sage because I became really
interested in the way different types of technology
could help you learn.

For this I was able to use my visual learning experience with the Flash
Card app when doing the predict/use/evaluate.
For this even though I scored a 7 for visual, I didn’t have a problem
learning history lessons from the History podcast. I do believe I am more
of a visual learner, but sometimes audio works.
Games
•
Cuban Missle Crisis game was able to summarize large amounts of
information into a fun simulation.
9. Physiological Factors
The physiological factors were definitely affecting my
learning once I started college. Wasn't getting
enough sleep, not eating breakfast, or not staying
hydrated.
Since changing my ways, I’ve notice a huge change
in my learning ability especially with not being
distracted from being hungry all day form eating
breakfast.
10. Future use
Things that I’ve learned from either physiological or
technology, has helped me improve as a learner a
lot. I’ve learned my strengths and weakness of ways
I could learn things
Now that I know my strengthens for learning, I could
find the best fitting technology to help me learn that
way. I.E I’m a visual learner so a game would work.
