Public system: State hospitals in Korle Bu, Military (37 Military Hospital) and
Police (Hospital Hospital) have emergency services.
Private system: Adjacent to state hospitals there are some private ones, the
most recognized being the Niaho Medical Center in the Airport Residential
Area.

The National Health Insurance Scheme, Capitation system, could bring Ghana to
the threshold of the doctor-house-call service, practiced in advanced countries
