With all of the information that I have gathered about this case, it seems that I still agree with the result of the trial. I do believe that the jury made the
right decision and that Morgan should be placed in prison and not allowed parole for an extended period of time. However, I do believe that everyone
should get a second chance in life and that people can change and this is where I also agree with the final verdict in that Morgan should be able to
gain parole or freedom from prison after ten to fifteen years if she has her college degree.

bride Molly. We must, however, take into consideration the way the novel does not start with the Guthrie's story, but rather with a tale of myths, and
battles. This seems to give the reader a sense of wonder, as if they were reading about something almost mystical, divine. This impression quickly
changes, as they are introduced to this family, who's members are unhappy, some to the extreme of deciding on taking their life and others'. Such is
the example of Chris' mother who, after being raped by her own husband, and bearing two more unwanted children, is driven by her own misery to take
her life and the twins'. This seems to present the reader with the harsh reality the characters face, even with the poetic narrative softening things up.
Throughout the course of the novel, the narrative voice seems to be even more mystical when it is focused on Scotland, especially Aberdeenshire, and
the land itself, making the reader feel as though they were there, contemplating something magical. Once again, the events that take place bring them
back into this cruel reality where they find the father trying to convince Chris to lay with him, but eventually fails, since he is bedridden because of a
stroke he had. Here and many other times it is obvious the main character struggles with the idea of Kinraddie, and the farm, but this is usually related

This poem consists of a community of poor chimney sweepers, the narrator of this poem being one of the many sweepers. This poem begins with
the unfortunate events of the narrator himself and his description of how he came to be one of the chimney sweepers. Through the use of perfect
language, Blake is able to capture the event and all of its emotion. The narrator starts by saying, "When my mother died I was very young, And my

There are many different ways our memory might fail us. Encoding failure occurs when our brain fails to realize all the information around us and

The essay I liked more was the one from Gretel Ehrlich I liked this essay because when she was telling her story she was focusing on only one place.
This essay was very different than Annie Dillard I say this because when Annie was talking she didn't focus on only one place in her essay she was

As an individual, I have always seen the world somewhat differently than the average person in a community such as mine. Those around me, as devout
orthodox Jews, tend to view those different than them as strange and odd – often times even judging them negatively. Personally, I see this as a large

With that being said, I felt what Susie was lacking was self–love and that she felt that the only thing she could control was her weight. She told me that
she would reward herself on days when she felt 'pretty' by buying shoes and outerwear that she did not need (Figure 5, 6). I came to realize that she
has to love herself before being able to fully love someone else. During the interview she stated that she has never been able to trust someone let alone

The information in this report are facts about the increasing scarcity of water and the many ways that we are trying to combat this. The problem
we are trying to solve with this information is to get the general public aware of what is happening and get them to help. We went about solving
this problem with new prototype technology. The result of this new technology varies with temperature and humidity of the region and at the
moment cannot be used in areas with high air pollution but is being worked on. The implications of this technology are very great if further

water or people that go without altogether. In the world today 650 million people don't have access to clean and safe water, 2.3 billion people don't
have access to adequate sanitation which is 1 out of 3 of the world's population, and 315 thousand children under five die every year from diarrheal
diseases caused by unclean water and substandard or nonexistent sanitation which is 900 children per day. The world is made up of nearly 70
percent water, but only 2.5 percent of that water is fresh water. Out of that 2.5 percent only about 1 percent of that is easily accessible which is most
trapped in glaciers and snowfields. In total, only about 7 one thousandth of a percent of the water is used for the 7.4 billion people now on this earth.

The Importance Of Success In Grit
In her book entitled Grit, Angela Duckworth contends that "grit," the "power of passion and perseverance," is the key to success. She maintains that
grit can be measured, learned, and eventually obtained. Unfortunately, what Duckworth fails to take into account are the limits of grit. For people who
have grown up with less privilege than herself, grit, as she sees it, is not necessarily instilled from birth like it is for so many others, and grit is of little
use without opportunity. Although Duckworth is not wrong in putting emphasis on hard work rather than talent, she does so in a way that dismisses
other pivotal factors that play a crucial role in determining success. Grit is cultivated, but from the very beginning. In his book, Outliers, Malcolm
Gladwell argues, contrary to Duckworth, that success is about much more than rugged individualism. One point he makes is that success depends
greatly on what he calls "concerted cultivation," the way in which we are taught growing up to interact with other people. Although Duckworth has a
chapter on "Parenting for Grit," it proves less feasible when the parents don't themselves have grit to give. As The New Yorker's David Denby
explains, "...prosperous children who are read to, talked to, and educated in many ways by their caregivers come to school way ahead of poor
children, especially children who grow up amid noise, violence, and unending stress and uncertainty." Privileged children grow up learning how to be
