AS Media G321 Task Planning for our 2 Minute Film

1. The following Pie charts show the results that I received from the audience research survey that I
created on Google Docs. As you can see the title of the Pie charts are the questions that were
asked on the Questionnaire.
The last 4 questions on the Questionnaire were audience choices. They were just boxes where
the audience could put in their choice of answer.

2. What was the last Horror film you watched? For this question I received a different answer for
each response. For this reason I could not produce a Pie chart and all the responses were evenly
distributed. For this question I received the following answers: Friday 13th, Sinister, Mama, Saw
and one response stated that they don’t watch films of the Horror genre.
What do you expect in a Horror film? For this question I received similar responses such as
Death, Murder, Dark settings and Blood and Gore. For this question I expected these results as
the majority of people know the conventions of the Horror genre.
What type of Characters should be in a Horror film? For this question I received responses
such as, Psychopaths, Villains, female victim, Murderers and sadistic killers. These results were
expected as the majority of films in the Horror genre include one of these characters and the
majority of victims within the Horror films are female.
We are making a 2-minute film in Media about possessed toys, would you watch a film like
this? Do you have any suggestions of hat to include in this film?For this question I received
responses such as, Yes, Maybe and the suggestion of including clowns. This was a good outcome
as the audience was saying they would watch our film. It was also good to get some feedback that
may improve our 2-minute film.
