Lighting Conditions: Winter, Foggy, Early Morning
Camera: Canon 1100D
Aperture: F5
Shutter Speed: 1/200
For this shot I had to climb through
some plants in order to get through
to the tree and create a natural
frame. I did this to make the
photograph more voyeuristic.
I asked my model to be looking into
the tree at the camera in a serious
way to make the photo look as if
the viewer is hiding in the bushes.
I also chosen to take it from this
distance to get in the detail of the
ripped shirt and blazer giving the
model a more tattered, scary
approach.
I changed the aperture so that the
tree’s were out of focus and the
background and main subject were
in focus.

Lighting Conditions: Winter, Foggy, Early
Morning
Camera: Canon 1100D
Shutter Speed: 1/200
Aperture: f/5
For this photo I chose an extreme
close up of the models face to
capture the detail of the emotions
displayed, along with using the rule
of thirds to capture some
additional detail of the
background.
I asked the model to face the floor
and have a serious/scared facial
expression to make the image
more serious, catching the
audiences eye more.
I kept the aperture the same
although I changed the focus so
that this time the background was
out of focus and the models facial
expression. This depth of field is
achieved by setting the aperture at
a low setting.

Lighting Conditions: Winter, Foggy, Early
Morning
Camera: Canon 1100D
Shutter Speed: 1/200
Aperture: f/5.6
Similar to the previous photo, I
used the rule of thirds to position
my model and used an extreme
close up to capture the emotion
on his face without the rest of
the body taking attention away
from it.
Again I kept the aperture and
focus the same, as the depth of
field was the same, to make the
models face detailed whilst the
background Is out of focus
therefore it Is less distracting.
Although this time I moved
closer to my model rather than
zooming therefore getting a
better quality picture.
I chose my models facial
expression to be aggressive and
serious as if they were almost
“insane”.

Location: Priestley College Garden
Time/Date: 8am, 30/11/2012
Lighting Conditions: Winter, Foggy, Early
Morning
Camera: Canon 1100D
Shutter Speed: 1/200
Aperture: f/4.5
For this photo I chose to set the
focus and aperture so that the
background was clear making
the picture more naturalistic.
Although there are several
objects in the image such as the
bush, tree, car, I positioned my
model in the centre of the
picture to keep him the focus of
the image.
I took it at a medium distance
from the model to capture the
ragged costume that is worn,
conveying the roughness of the
role he is portraying. As well as
this I gave the model a rather
angry looking facial expression
looking straight into the camera
to direct the emotions conveyed
at the audience.

Location: Priestley College Garden
Time/Date: 8am, 30/11/2012
Lighting Conditions: Winter, Foggy, Early
Morning
Camera: Canon 1100D
Shutter Speed: 1/200
Aperture: f/5
For this photo positioned my
model to the right using the rule
of thirds. This time Instead of
looking at the floor I got him to
look into the camera with an
‘energy drained’ facial expression.
I changed the focus and aperture
because there was a long depth
of field, therefore background
was out of focus but the model
was in focus, making him the
main part of the image.
Once again I chose a close up to
capture the detail of the facial
expressions used.
6. Shooting Details:
Location: Priestley College Garden
Time/Date: 8am, 30/11/2012
Lighting Conditions: Winter, Foggy, Early
Morning
Camera: Canon 1100D
Shutter Speed: 1/200
Aperture: f/4.5
In this photo changed the
focus, but kept the same
aperture as there was a
medium-long depth of field, so
that both of the models
remained in focus as I wanted
the audience to be able to see
both of the models as well as
the mist in the background
making the scene more eerie.
I chose Ross (right) to position
his hand as if he was holding a
drink can so I could edit in my
own drink can later.
I also made Matt (left) to stand
behind the other model to
create a scarier atmosphere of
the picture.

Time/Date: 8am, 30/11/2012
Lighting Conditions: Winter, Foggy, Early
Morning
Camera: Canon 1100D
Shutter Speed: 1/200
Aperture: f/4
In this photo I decided to step
back from the model and
capture more detail of the
surroundings and his clothing.
The purpose of this picture was
mainly for an advertising poster
or background for a leaflet, I
left plenty of space above the
models head so I could perhaps
add a title or caption.
The aperture and focus
remained the same due to the
depth of field being the same,
so that the entire shot was in
sharp focus so the picture
captured more detail.

Lighting Conditions: Winter, Foggy, Early
Morning
Camera: Canon 1100D
Shutter Speed: 1/200
Aperture: f/3.5
In this photo I zoomed out to
capture more of the models
actions and expressions
creating a more interesting
picture.
I changed the aperture down
slightly to compensate for the
small change in depth of field,
thus blurring the background
whilst keeping the model in
focus, making him the main
part of the photo.
I chose for him to have a
screaming like facial expression
to create a more scary picture
and add elements of horror.

Lighting Conditions: Winter, Foggy, Early
Morning
Camera: Canon 1100D
Shutter Speed: 1/200
Aperture: f/5.6
In this photo I chose to go for
a more Voyeuristic approach
by taking the picture with my
model looking at something
else.
To make the photo more
naturalistic and voyeuristic I
used a natural frame by
capturing the branches and
leaves In the picture.
I made my model pull a
serious/angry facial expression
to convey that there is
something wrong, in this case
a lack of energy.
By changing the aperture and
focus I was able to create a
clear setting around the model
as he was at a medium depth
of field, therefore blurring the
background and foreground

Lighting Conditions: Winter, Foggy, Early
Morning
Camera: Canon 1100D
Shutter Speed:1/200
Aperture: f/5
For this photo I asked my
model to go for a more
sinister/psychotic type of look
but in a more subtle way. Thus
I asked my model to look
down on the floor, with a
drained facial expression to
make the image scary.
I kept the Aperture the same
but changed the focus in order
to create a clear picture of the
model and a blurry
background making the model
stand out.
For this photo I also stood
extremely close to the models
face and zoomed in slightly to
try and get a little background
as possible.
