2. For this image I have taken away the
background this is because I didn’t want the
background to take up too much space or be
too busy so you weren't as focused on the
model. I have also added a drop shadow so it
lifts him off the page and outlines him this
will make him standout the most on my
magazine. I have also made the image a
lighter because some of the areas of the
model were dark such as his face and suit.
The purpose of the edit is to make the viewer
focus on the character as they wont be
looking at a busy background. It also allows
me to be able to place words around the
picture and use more space for writing.
3. I have edited this image by cutting out the back
ground as it wasn’t necessary to have it. I have
also resized the image to make it fit in a smaller
place on my magazine I have also added a black
circle behind it on my magazine this helps the
image standout as it is much brighter.
I have cut the background from the picture
because I can then add my own background
which could be a shape or a different
background such as a famous football stadium
to show the viewer they can make it and
become professional. The previous background
was on a simple pitch with no stands which isn't
very interesting for a viewer to look at.
4. For this image I have
completely blurred out
the background because
I didn't want certain
things in the background.
The purpose of the
image is too show the
focus on the ball as the
theme of the magazine is
football. I have also
blurred the background
to help focus on the
model as a part of the
magazine is about him.
The background being
blurred makes it less
busy as before it had a
lot of things happening.
5. I have edited this photo by
putting the lightness up over
the entire image this made
the image less darker but it
was too light and took some
of the colour away so also put
the saturation up to add more
colour and help the model
stand out. I have also
sharpened the image to
improve the quality of the
image and make the suit the
model is wearing better than
it is. It also helps make some
parts of the models face and
small parts of the suit
standout more than they
should.
The purpose for using this photo is to show the viewer
the model is proud and focused on his career. He is in
the middle of the picture focusing on the camera
showing his confidence, keeping the background on this
photo shows people what a bit of his house hold looks
like and shows he is earning enough money to look after
himself. Making the image brighter also takes the dark
side away from the picture making it brighter makes the
person look happy and has a strong glow from the sun
behind.
6. With this image I have blurred out the background this so it make the
model standout and not blend in. I have also increased the lightness and
saturation not because the photo was too dark it just made the model
glow and makes him look special. The purpose of this photo is to show
he's proud of playing for this team also making him and the shirt brighter
made him stand out. I also blurred the background because there was no
purpose to it and wasn’t need to the magazine but blurring it showing
something was there but also made the viewer focus on the person and
what team he plays for.
7. I have cropped the image down because it wasn’t needed and it also
helps make the model more central. I have also put the saturation up
on the model to make him glow on the outline of him this helps him
stand out and makes you focus on him now he is lighter than the
background.
The purpose of editing this picture was because the background was
too big for the picture and made you look away from the person in the
picture this made you less focused on what the person was doing.
