municipality Wyszków, about 2 km from the

Treblinka extermination camp
Treblinka was an extermination camp built by Nazi
Germany in occupied Poland during World War . It
was located in a forest north-east of Warsaw . The
camp operated between 23 July 1942 and 19
October 1943 as part of Operation Reinhard, the
deadliest phase of the Final Solution .During this
time, it is estimated that between 700,000 and
900,000 Jews were killed in its gas chambers, along
with 2,000 Roamni people . More Jews were killed
at Treblinka than at any other Nazi extermination
camp apart from Auschwitz.
Manor in Paplin
In Paplin is a mansion built for clay. The fact that the busy highway
survived for hundreds of years, wooden aristocratic seat, it seems a
miracle. Since 1760 Palin belonged to the Garczyński who lavishly feted in
court later King Stanislaw Poniatowski visitor Podlasie during his "election
campaign". Confiscated in 1939. By the Germans in 1944. Was taken over
by a "people's power". Since the fall of the final saved valuable monument
family Toczyłowskich (1995)., Which he restored the manor to its former
glory.
The Palace in Starawieś
The Palace is located near Węgrów.
This is neo-ghotic palace, which was
built in XVI. It was repeatedly rebuild
and modernized. Now, the palace is
training centre of the National Bank of
Poland.
Castle in Liw
The castle-manor complex in Liw is the oldest
example of the architecture in the Siedlce Region. In
the Middle Ages the wooden castle protected the
eastern part of the Mazovia Duchy from the attacks
of the Russian, Lithuanian and Baltic tribes. In the
first quarter of the XV century Janusz I Prince of
Mazovia founded a new castle of brick made by the
architect named Niclos on the artificially raised
island surrounded by the swamps of the Liwiec
River, which was the border of the state these
times.
Royal Baths in Warsaw
The palace garden was the seat of King Augustus Poniatowski. In addition to
the Palace on the water there are four gardens: the Royal, Romantic,
Modernist, and Chinese. The bathrooms are a place of many events and also
one of the favorite places for walks of residents and guests of the capital.
Now, the Palace serves as a museum where there are valuable paintings
from the collection of King.
Palace of Culture and Science in
Warsaw It’s the tallest building in Warsaw
and Poland. I find myself in the
city center of Warsaw on the
Parade Square 1. It has more than
237 meters tall and 42 floors. It
was built "as a gift of the Soviet
people to the Polish nation," and
the originator of it’s construction
was Joseph Stalin. It’s
construction lasted 3 years. I find
there Theatre,, Doll '', Congress
Hall and the observation deck on
the 30th floor.
Wilanów Residence
The Wilanów residence is composed of the
palace, its decorations and works of art, gardens
and sculptures located in the park and also
numerous buildings and monuments raised in the
location since 1677. The residence contains traces
of its former inhabitants, their interests and
habits and the collection of art amassed here
over the years. The Wilanów Museum
commemorates past events which make up the
history of the Republic of Poland. A visit to
Wilanów, be it virtual or real, provides an
opportunity to experience the core of our
tradition that is also a part of the common
European culture
Warsaw Barbican
The barbican was erected in 1540 in place of an
older gate to protect Nowomiejska Street. It was
designed by Jan Baptist the Venetian, an Italian
Reneissance architect who lived and worked in the
Mazowsze region of 16th century Poland and was
instrumental in the redesign of the 14th-century
city walls, which by that time had fallen into
disrepair. The barbican had the form of a three-level
semicircular bastion manned by fusiliers .It was 14
meters wide and 15 meters high from the bottom
of the moat, which surrounded the city walls, and
extended 30 meters from the external walls
Tomb of the Unknown Soldier in
Warsaw
Grave-monument to Marshal Jozef Pilsudski Square
in Warsaw. The idea of the Warsaw Tomb of the
Unknown Soldier is honoring the memory of the
fallen in the struggle for independence. In Poland,
the first initiative to create a place to commemorate
the dead of unknown soldiers appeared in 1921.
The first, a monument-plate of the Unknown
Soldier in Lodz (unveiling of March 22, 1925). At the
Tomb of the Unknown Soldier in Warsaw burning
eternal flame and full service honor guard battalion
of the Representative of the Polish Army, and on
public holidays held its ceremonial changing of the
highest authorities of the state.
Royal Castle in Warsaw
The Royal Castle in Warsaw is located in
the Old Town square. It was rebuilt after
second World War. The castle serves as a
museum and representative.
The Old Town in Warsaw
• The picturesque buildings at the Old Town Market, St John’s Cathedral, The
Royal Castle, The Sigismund’s Column, the Barbican and the defence walls,
which are admired today by many tourists- all of them were virtually non-
existent in 1945 as a result of the planned destruction of the city by the
Nazis. The Old Town in Warsaw was reborn as the proverbial phoenix,
which rose anew from the ashes, thanks to the work of Polish conservator.
Thank you for watching ! 
