Looking back at your preliminary task, what do you
feel you have learnt in the progression from it to the
full product?

2. After my preliminary task I have
learnt vast amounts of
information about all sorts of
different things. I now have a
wider understanding of As you can see from my preliminary task I
Photoshop and Blogger. previously uploaded to my blog, I really didn’t have
a clue what I was doing. I think my magazine looks
very rushed as I didn’t really have an idea of what I
wanted to do, it was the first time I had ever used
Photoshop and found it very difficult.
After looking at both my music magazine and the
school magazine as my first task I have noticed that
my music magazine looks a lot more professional
and you can tell that I know what I am actually
doing now.
My photography skills have also vastly improved as
before I did this course I had never done a proper
photo-shoot before, I have learnt a lot of different
photo taking techniques. I have learnt how to edit
photos to make images look much more effective
and I am really happy with what I have now
achieved.
