In what ways does your media product use, develop
or challenge forms and conventions of real media
products?
2. I used the cover of a Blender magazine as a guide to help me create my front cover. I liked the idea of the overlapping
of the dominant image and magazine title. I also liked the idea of the ‘fading’ background which I put onto my cover
but a little differently. Both magazine titles are slightly covered by the image on top of it. Blender uses a bright
colour for their title to make it stand out more, this is a well known magazine so they
might be using this colour to appeal to their audience. Whereas my magazines title is
just black, I thought I would just keep it simple and I also think it looks very
sophisticated. Both dominant images are of

be to fit in with the colour
scheme/house style.

are similar as they both use just 2 colours.
