Activity -1: Acquainting with sounds and rhymes.
(1) Read the poem given below.
I see with my Eyes
I eat with my Hand
I smell with my Nose
On the Feet I do stand.
I listen with Ears
With Lips talk Tongue
I think in my Head
What is right and wrong?
In the above poem there are some rhyming words (words that rhyme), e.g., hand, stand, tongue
and wrong. Here hand rhymes with stand and tongue rhymes with the word wrong.
(2) Now read out the following poem aloud.
Cats mew Dogs bark
Lions roar Ducks quack.
Monkeys chatter Jackals Howl
Goats bleat Tigers growl.
Frogs croak Pigeons coo
Sparrows chirp Cows moo.
Bulls bellow Donkeys bray

In the above poem, you read about some vegetables. Now make a list of 20 no. of vegetables in
