    A Critical Study of Attitudes of Secondary Studentes in
        Relation To Most Preferred TV Programmes

A B S T R A C T
 Nowadays watching television has become a favourite activity of children. Many Programmes for children are shown on
 television. These programmes are information oriented, education oriented or entertainment oriented. The result of the
 study indicated that as the time spend by children on viewing cable TV increases, the time spent by them in watching
 Doordarshan decreases. Maximum number of students spends 3-6 hrs of a day in watching TV.
