2. Magazine Proposal
The name of my music magazine is called “WATCH THE THRONE” but I will
only place the initials “WTT” on the front cover because it is too long to fit
in the front cover.
The reason why I chose WTT as the name of my music magazine because in
the music industry its all about who is the best and most established artists
but no matter who's the best there's always someone better that can take
that artists place in the music industry. That’s why you really have to
watch your place in the throne (The top of the music industry) if you’re the
best, and my magazine will be all about these new artists (new comers
from YouTube) that have the possibility to take this fictional throne.
My chose genres are hip hop/grime and rap music. Hip hop is separated into
many different styles and grime is one of them. The reason why I chose
grime is because it was created in East London (Bow) in the early 2000’s,
and I can relate to this because I grew up In this area and I know some
people who actually make their own grime music.
I also wanted to have some rapper on my artists to make my music magazine
have a more street look to it and that’s exactly what will attract my
intended audience.
