Attendance Allowance Move from attendance to a productivity allowance Productivity =  All time that is chargeable to the job
Non Productive Time ,[object Object],[object Object],[object Object],[object Object],[object Object],[object Object]
Attendance/productivity (For Example Only) Increase the payment of attendance allowance from £4.90 (£4.17) to an equivalent of £7.50 a day (£7.00 Fridays) across the board (All Trades) This equates to £1.00 per hour on top of basic rate for each productive hour A total of approx. 45 weeks at £37.00 per week equating £1665.00 per year on top of basic.
How Would It Work? The rate would be set each year, relevant to previous years productivity Equation would be Total hours available within the year Minus Non productive time (Wet Time, Sickness and Medical/Dental time)
How Would It Work (Continued)? Say total productive hours equates to a possible 1665 per year, if in that year the person was to have 50 hours unproductive then that person would receive £1615.00 in that year, spread out over 52 weeks of the year. Making a payment of  £31.05  every week on top of the basic wage. The allowance would be equated to the percentage of productive time.

How Is This Going To Be Funded? Has got to be funded by increasing productive time Removing formal morning and afternoon break times  (5 minutes to be taken informally on job for a cup of tea, no congregating ) Flexing the lunchtime cover and making lunchtime services self service
