1. I have chosen these three
costumes to give my models an
edgy persona of them. The clothes
aren’t outgoing because I’d rather
the location and the subjects
themselves be more important
than their costumes, as in indie
music magazines, the clothing is
presented to be normal/edgy but
isn’t extreme to take away the
attention of the subject’s face.
The use of the female models
implies girly, however, the clothing
may not conform to this stereotype
as the clothes are very plain. Even
though the models are all female,
this does not mean that the target
audience is female. The locations I
have used will conform
stereotypically to the male gender
due to adventure.
Furthermore, I have limited the
props (only using sunglasses- to
give a rock star persona) as I want
the models to be presented as
normal people therefore, this
magazine may furthermore
conform to the indie genre.
