3. Introduction
It is the process of imparting information about health
in such way that the recipient' is motivated to use that
information for the protection or advancement of his
own and his family, community health providing
information and teaching people how to behave safely
and in a manner that promotes and maintains their
Health.
4. Definition
Health education is the profession of educating
people about health.
Area within this profession encompass environmental
health, physical health, social health, emotional health,
intellectual health, & spiritual health.
5. Objectives
1- INFORMING PEOPLE -
people are informed about the different disease their
etiology and how to prevent them.
2 -MOTIVATING PEOPLE -
concerned with changing or forming attitudes, beliefs, value,
openions, after health information is giving. It is necessaryto
motivate them alter their lifestyle so that they can promote
health and prevent the disease .
3-guiding to action-
A person who had obtained health information might be
motivated to change his behaviour and lifestyle and bring these
changes in lifestyle.

Planning is a continuous process .health Education

Assessment is the most important step in any
successful planning process .
Assessment is the process of identifying and
understanding the Health problem of the
community and their possible cause .problems are
the analysed so that priorities can be set for any
necessary intervention.

Next step is to identify their priorities because each
community may have several problems but the most
urgent have to be given top priority in health education.
Set the goal
Setting goal is the third and most essential step
because these goal serve as consciously through baseline
