1. Medical model:
 The medical model is primarily interested in the
recognition and treatment of disease (curing) and
technological advances to facilitate the process.
 It is concerned with disease (as defined by the
doctor) or opposed to illness (as defined by the
client).

emphasizing motivation as the main force to
