2. A film also called a movie is the illusion of moving images. A film is created by
photographing actual scenes with a motion picture camera. People usually go to the
cinema to watch the film. People can stimulating experiences such as communicate
ideas, stories, feeling by watching the film. There are many type of film such as
animated film, action film, comedy and others. For my opinion, I like the animated
film most because the characters in the film are cute and funny. It can help me to
release the stress and forget the troubling thing temporarily. There are two animated
films I like the most are Despicable Me and Cinderella. These two films had brought
me a lot of fun, moral value and impress. Now, I would like to compare these two
animated films and find out what are the differences between these two films.
Cinderella is a fairy tales story. The main character of Cinderella is called
Cinderella who mother and father dead when she was young. Cinderella had turned
into servant by her stepmother that her father remarried with two daughters.
Meanwhile, the king determines that his son, the prince should found a bride. So, the
king had invited all eligible maiden in kingdom to a dance party where the prince will
be able to choose his bride. Cinderella was not allowed to attend the party and she
also has no suitable party dress for the party. Meanwhile, a fairy godmother appears
and restoring her hope. She changed Cinderella’s servant outfit into nice party dress.
The fairy had warned Cinderella that she must come back before midnight because
the magic will disappeared at midnight. Cinderella had a dance with the prince and
both of them fall in love with each other. All of a sudden, the clock had showed that it
was almost midnight and she quickly run away and dropping a glass slipper. The
prince vowed that he must found the girl who wearing the glass slipper. Finally, the
prince found that the girl was Cinderella and married her as his wife.

3. Despicable Me is a comedy story. The main character of the Despicable Me is
called Gru. Gru’s pride was wounded when he heard the news that Egyptian pyramid
was stolen and he planned to pull the biggest heist of the century by stealing the
moon. Gru tried to get loan but bank president, Mr Perkins refused to grant Gru the
loan until he obtained the shrink ray necessary for the plan. Gru and his minions
stole the shrink ray but Vector, a young super-villain who annoyed Gru stole the
shrink ray from him. Gru tried to get the shrink ray back but he failed. He found that
three orphaned girls could enter the lair sold the cookies to Vector. Gru adopts the
girls to use them to steal back the shrink ray. Gru was going to leave the three girls
at the park but he did not. Gru almost abandoned his plan due to lack of funds but
the girls and the minions take up a collection to keep it going. The day Gru want to
steal the moon same as girls’ ballet recital. After Gru successfully stole the moon
and he rushed to the ballet recital but it was ended. Gru had found a note from
Vector demanding the moon in exchange for girls. Gru decided to rescue the girls
from Vector and he was successes. Lastly, Gru become the dad of the girls and
settle down a happy life as family.
The differences between these two films are the relationship between the
families. In the story of Cinderella, Cinderella’s stepmother and stepsisters always
bullied her. They always ordered her to do housework. She has no time for rest. In
the end story of Despicable Me, Gru become three little girls’ father. He brought
them to park and play roller castle with them. Compare to Cinderella, we could saw
that Gru had treated the girls as his daughter even thought they did not have any
kinship. He took them as treasure and lives happily together. But, Cinderella has

4. been treated like a servant and has to serve her stepmother and stepsisters. Her
stepmother had married her father and she have responsible to take care of her after
her father dead even though she has not any kinship with her.
The characteristic of the main character also the differences between these two
films. Cinderella was a kind person. She made the clothes and stuff for the mice.
She never hated her stepmother and stepsisters. She also was an obedient person.
She took the most amount of work without complain. She heard her stepmother and
stepsister’s orders without any revolt. She just followed the order because she don’t
want cause a fight. Besides that, Gru was a evil man. He was going to steal moon.
This action was looked like a thief. The moon was no belongs to him. He also took
advantage of the three little girls. He used the three little girls as a disguise, but his
aim was to steal the shrink ray from the Vector. He has much of effort to achieve his
aim. He even had the ideas to abandon the three little girls at the park.
Conclusion, Cinderella is the film that can inspire me. We have to treat anyone
good even though the person who are not our family. Despicable Me is the film that
has bring many fun for me. I hope that the authors will prepare more good films for
us no matter which type of films.
