MINI PROJECT
on
ELECTRONICS COUNTER
4. Objectives
To implement a counter that can count up to 10,000.
To automate current system of counting.
5. Introduction
This project focuses on building an effective counter using
IR as a sensing element and and will be capable of counting
from 0 to 9999.
This circuit is designed using CMOS lCs, with
advantages like:
o Very low power consumption.
o Wide supply voltage range
o Good noise immunity
o High package density
o High fan-out capability
11. Applications
Industries- record of amount of products
Parking areas
Seminar halls
Vigilant analytics human counter
Home automation system
banks and offices - money counter machines
12. Problems Faced
One of the major problem faced was because of
floating pins which have different impact on software
and hardware.
Due to usage of number of wires, noise effects the
output to extent.
Understanding the concepts of negative and positive
logic circuits.
13. Future scope
In real time, by using advanced sensors the distance
between receiver and transmitter can be increased and
can be useful to count heavy objects.
Using different sensors and technologies, we not only
can increment the count of objects but can also
decrement of no of objects going out.
Some daily life problems..
Existing devices are expensive
The digital object counter is a cost effective and a simple system.
Everything is digital, so the signals can be used for further analysis and is compatible with other digital devices.
If this system is implemented, then automation in the product counting can be achieved.
