• ICT can facilitate early intervention and inclusion for
person with disability(PwD)- UNESCO, 2006
• Accessible ICT support system can enable realization
and implementation of inclusive education.
• It facilitates virtual communities and communities of
practice.
• ICT in inclusive classroom opens door to lifelong
learning.

• Easy access to course material – Multimedia is easy to understand,
and an internet can be accessed any time at any place.
• Motivation- ICT app gives instant feedback, it is patient and non-
judgemental which gives motivation to continue learning.
• Wide Participation – learning material on internet is used by
global learners. E.g. MOOC.
• Subject made easier – Many subject specific educational software
are designed E.g. Crack NEET Biology app.
• Easy evaluation – More authentic, flexible structure to measure
and improve outcomes of learning. E.g. JEE, NEET and UGC-NET
exam are now conducted online.
• Individualized learning – Student learning from any place (Home)
and can refer course material for number of times till concept is
cleared.

• Digital inclusion for CWSN
1. Blind people – JAWS (Jobs Access With Speech)
2. Person with Low Vision – Large format text and effective
colour contrast.
3. Person with cognitive impairment – Simpler language or
alternative text formats.
4. Person with manual impairment – May use keyboard instead
of mouse.
• Hidden talent unlocked – Enables learner’s autonomy and
unlocks hidden talent of those with communication difficulties.

• Demonstrate achievements – Enable students to demonstrate
achievements.
• Customized – It enables task to tailored to suit individual needs,
skills, talents and abilities.
• Computer based Instructions – Software helps student’s with
learning difficulties in reading, writing, math and other subject
areas.
• Alternative communication mode – For eg. Child who cannot
speak or communicate can used picture boards, voice output
communication devices, software etc.

Introduction • ICT can facilitate early intervention and inclusion for person with disability(PwD)- UNESCO, 2006 • Accessible ICT support system can enable realization and implementation of inclusive education. • It facilitates virtual communities and communities of practice. • ICT in inclusive classroom opens door to lifelong learning. Benefits or use of ICT • Easy access to course material – Multimedia is easy to understand, and an internet can be accessed any time at any place. • Motivation- ICT app gives instant feedback, it is patient and non- judgemental which gives motivation to continue learning. • Wide Participation – learning material on internet is used by global learners. E.g. MOOC. • Subject made easier – Many subject specific educational software are designed E.g. Crack NEET Biology app. • Easy evaluation – More authentic, flexible structure to measure and improve outcomes of learning. E.g. JEE, NEET and UGC-NET exam are now conducted online. • Individualized learning – Student learning from any place (Home) and can refer course material for number of times till concept is cleared. Person with cognitive impairment – Simpler language or alternative text formats. 4. Person with manual impairment – May use keyboard instead of mouse. • Hidden talent unlocked – Enables learner’s autonomy and unlocks hidden talent of those with communication difficulties. Benefits or use of ICT • Demonstrate achievements – Enable students to demonstrate achievements. • Customized – It enables task to tailored to suit individual needs, skills, talents and abilities. • Computer based Instructions – Software helps student’s with learning difficulties in reading, writing, math and other subject areas. • Alternative communication mode – For eg.
