vitamins. The human body can produce only a

help break them down
 They help the body to function properly
 They help the body to fight diseases

vitamins
 Vitamins are of two kinds –water soluble and
fat soluble
 Water soluble such as-vitamin B and vitamin
C They are destroyed by boiling
 Fat soluble such as- vitamin A,D,E, and K
