8. I tried to make it look
handmade whilst using
photoshop. I used a
couple of ways to make
the photo look
photocopied . At first I
posturized the photo
and then changed it to
black and white
however this was
slightly too unclear as
to what the photo was
so I chose to use levels
on the desaturated
image which made it
look hand made and
clear at the same time.
9. I tried to make this front cover similar to a cigarette pack similar
to how the “SOUTHSIDE CIRCULAR” looks like a school book. I
used the official government guide for tobacco packaging to
make the cover making sure to use all the right colours and fonts.
I think that this turned out really well and I will probably use it
for the actual zine.
