Cause Marketing Strategy for Avon Foundation and Marketplace Events
1. Causal marketing campaign strategy
A very competitive marketplace and limited client budget motivated me to develop a unique marketing strategy for Marketplace
Events that created loyalty within the target audience and delivered measurable results. I designed web ads, wrote website copy
and initiated a five month marketing partnership for The Home & Garden Show/Marketplace Events with The Avon Foundation
and Tomboy Tools.
Results: Fifteen percent increase in revenue for The Home & Garden Show and a substantial donation to The Avon
Foundation due to strong sales of Tomboy Tools pink product. Avon Foundation and Tomboy Tools received presence on The
Home & Garden Show websites in 27 markets. The Home & Garden Show received presence on The Avon Foundation’s
website, the Tomboy Tools website and at all Tomboy Tools events. Click thru traffic to The Home & Garden Show website
totaled more than 100,000 visits and an opt-in marketing database was generated.
