“It comes from the ’88 World Series, when Kirk
Gibson hit the home run in Game 1. Gibson used to
play for the Tigers when I was a kid, then when I
moved out to California, he played for the Dodgers. I
was lucky enough to be at Game 1 of the World Series
and he hit that home run. To this day, besides getting
married and having our baby, its probably the most
memorable moment of my life.”

Jason Klein easily got to where he was due to the time
he took out to make sure he got the experience he
needed in this certain field. He didn’t even do extensive
schooling nor did he study marketing, he just found
something that he loved, which was watching sports
and playing them and then replicated it in his career
path. He didn’t necessarily study to be a Director of
Marketing, he gained his experience and then was able
to branch off and do his own thing.

“Not getting a championship ring while working
for one of the teams. When you work in sports,
its one of the only things you can get in our
industry.”

“Besides the economy, I think initially
working by myself without any support
staff. In this new venture, it is all me. I
am the IT department and the
accounting department. The toughest
part is doing everything on your own, but
its also challenging and exciting part
too.”
