Are you struggling in your MLM Business? Do
you needs some tips. In this article, I challenge
you to change your focus in recruiting from
selling to attracting.
Now think to yourself? What do prospects think
when you engage with them in your MLM Business?
“Are you trying to sell me something?”
“Are you trying to push something down my throat?”
“Listen, if you try and sell or pitch to me, I am out of here”.
Yep that’s right. People do not like being sold to. But they are happy to
buy. So if you want to get good at recruiting, don’t go into a situation
with all guns blazing, trying to ‘SELL, SELL, SELL’. People hate it! I
know I do. They cringe and want to curl up in a ball. Or better still, they
want to run for the hills!
Think about it. Imagine a time when someone was trying to sell to you
and how uncomfortable you felt. You were on edge. You were ready to
say “no”. You were ready to run. Do you really want your prospects to
feel that uncomfortable? Do you want them to listen to what you have to
say? Do want to engage them in conversation?
So how do we successfully recruit in MLM? Recruiting is all about build-
ing relationships with your prospects. Let them get to know you. Build a
rapport. Let them observe your success without pushing it down their
throat. Let them see your passion for your business. Let them see your
expertise. Let them see your success.
When you provide value to your customers, they listen. What do I mean
by providing value? Teach, educate, entertain, uplift and encourage.
When you begin to build a relationship with your customers, they begin to
listen and trust you. This can be applied in any type of business, to any
type of situation.
I want to share one thing that I have learned in sales that will be of value
to you. If you go into a situation with dollar signs in your eyes, you will
have less chance of success. You need to go into a situation with the
customer at the very heart of your focus. Ask yourself, who are
they? What are their needs? How can I help them? Find their need and
fill it with your business. If you enter a situation to help your customer,
to provide value to your customer, they will engage with you and will be
more likely to partner with you. The money will come, don’t worry about
that.
Success in MLM is all about attracting, not selling. The sooner you real-
ise this, the better it will be for your business and your bottom line.
