JoDee Martin worked as a Store Management Intern II in Lino Lakes, Minnesota. Their responsibilities included opening the store, analyzing daily data, setting team goals, holding manager and daily meetings, organizing freight and department projects, completing walks with upper management, and closing the store. JoDee implemented a plan to increase credit capture and drove positive results in customer service, email, credit, and participation through games, incentives and discussions. The internship experience helped JoDee understand how different industry sectors work together and classes at Stout prepared them to be successful in merchandising, management, and other areas. JoDee has accepted an offer from MIT and will also be a Campus Ambassador.
