1. INTRODUCTION TO PROJECT MANAGEMENT (INPM210)
INTEGRATED CURRICULUM ENGAGEMENT (ICE) TASKS
The INPM210 module requires the completion of 5 ICE tasks. The ICE tasks
contribute to 5% towards your CASS mark for the semester. Varsity College
rules apply re: late handing in of these assignments!!
ICE TASK 3
Due time & date: 1200hrs Friday 1st June 2012
Using LEARNING UNIT 3: THE EXECUTION PHASE please carry out the
following:-
1. Using MS Works or MS Excel create a flowchart showing all of the steps
involved in carrying out a critical path analysis (CPA).
2. Identify all key steps, all calculation methods and all key factors in preparing
the CPA.
3. Identify any calculation checks that you can carry out to see whether your
analysis has been correctly completed.
4. Write one paragraph about the implications to the critical path
Notes:
1. The ICE task should be typed – the important measure is that it is easy to
read
2. Please put your name and student number on the BACK of each sheet of
paper and staple them together.
3. Copies of your completed flowcharts MAY be circulated to the other members
of the INPM210 group for revision purposes
4. Make a copy of your work before you hand it in
5. This is an individual task – group work will not be accepted
