Welcome Speech For Graduation Speech
Good morning respected guests and members of the community, staff, family, friends and fellow
graduates. Let me begin by welcoming you all to today's event and thanking Ms. Pavlou, Ms.
Barresi, Ms. Adamo, Mr. Tenaglia, and _____ . I am absolutely honored to be standing here
representing the graduating class of 2017. On behalf of the graduates, I would like to thank you for
joining us on this auspicious occasion. Today is one of those great occasions when we get the
opportunity to celebrate our achievements, our perseverance and successes as we grow up. It is one
of the times that we can reflect just how much we have accomplished and grown in our years at 141.
Graduation is a time of reflecting on the past and looking onward to the future. It can be seen as a
coming of age, an official way to recognize when a person steps into a new stage of life, and
graduates, we are stepping into a new stage. It is a time that we, as graduates, get together for one
last hurrah before moving on to bigger and better adventures. This year we have a very unique and
exceptional group of students who are graduating. We have grown, changed, and experienced so
much together. As we look back upon three amazing years, it is incontrovertible that IS 141 has
played an instrumental role in helping to shape the individuals we are today. There is something
most definitely unique about IS 141. There is a magic at this school that is inimitable, and we have
been incredibly fortunate to experience

Graduation Speech : College Admissions
During a typical high school graduation, speeches are given by a select few, notable students. These
notable students normally include the two students who earned the highest grade point averages out
of all the students in their graduating class – the valedictorian and the salutatorian. Imagine a
graduation, however, with no valedictorian or salutatorian speech. Imagine if there was no
valedictorian or salutatorian. Imagine if there was no distinction of students ' academic performance
during commencement or during the process of college admissions. While it may seem like no big
deal – it may sound like a blessing when the length of a graduation ceremony is considered – the
impact of a class ranking extends far beyond the privilege of giving a speech on graduation day.
Class rankings are a vital component of high schools, and eradicating them would be detrimental to
both colleges and students in many ways. Class rankings provide colleges with data needed for
evaluating applicants. Some colleges have a plethora of applicants and need a simple way to narrow
the pool down, while others use the information for awarding scholarships. Knowing that a student
pushed himself or herself to be the best makes the process easier. In a study of 2,175 high schools by
the National Association of Secondary School Principals (NASSP), it was found that "the 1,109
college admissions officers who responded to the survey said class rankings are among the four
most important factors considered on

I would now like to take this time to thank my family for their endless support and love. Mom,
thank you for your encouraging words, your advice, and for always believing in me even at times
when I gave up on myself. Just as you have stood by me and helped me accomplish so many goals, I
hope to be able to fulfill many of your dreams. To my little sister, thank you for keeping the child
inside of me alive, for always finding a way to put a smile on my face, and for your honesty. Last
but not least, I am proud to share this moment with my father, thank you for your support, guidance,
and for the lifelong values and morals you have instilled in me, a person whose wisdom and
spirituality I deeply admire. I am extremely grateful and thankful to be the first child in my family
that my parents will witness graduate from secondary school. To my family, I may not say it enough,
but I love you all more than words can express and without your presence in my life, I don't know
where or who I would be. Maya Angelou said, "But nobody, no nobody can make it out here alone"

Essay about Graduation Speech
The first day of kindergarten, we clung to our parents afraid of the new experiences that awaited us.
We looked around at all of the other faces not sure what to think. Fear and doubt crippled us. Little
did we know that this day was the beginning of a journey stock full of obstacles and rewards.
Kindergarten was a breeze. We learned the ABCs, made friends, and finally counted to one hundred.
Then we went into elementary. We saw new students join our classes throughout these long but short
elementary years. Teachers could see boys and girls running away from each other screaming, "Ew,
you got cooties!" Life was a breeze all the way through to middle school.
We came into middle school with no idea what to be prepared for. None the ... Show more content

We became involved in sports, the opposite sex, and looking the best that we could. Finally eighth
grade reached us. We graduated from eighth grade and enjoyed our summer thinking about
becoming a freshman in high school. When September rolled around, butterflies hit.
Once again we were the youngest, but it wasn't so bad. We made new friends and lost old friends.
We challenged ourselves with difficult classes and took easy classes. Throughout high school we
looked forward to this day. The day that our journey would end. We have overcome all the obstacles
and received all the rewards for doing our best. Tonight we receive the ultimate reward, our
diplomas.
There is no way we could have accomplished this great feat alone. A great part of our success was
given to us by our teachers. They taught us new information. They taught us to respect people and
things that we would never have respected otherwise. Our thank you's and appreciation should be
given to those teachers who understood us and helped us defeat our obstacles when we had to face
them. We owe our success to teachers for helping us through the end of this difficult journey. Thank
you to all of our teachers.
We must also thank and appreciate our parents. The two people who forced you to go to school no
matter how much you whined and complained about having to go. They were the two people who
seemed like the most unfair people in the world. When we were young, our parents

Lauren Stickler is escorted by her mother, Ann Stickler, father, Tom Stickler, and sister, Meredith

Well, the time has come for me to finally put in my two cents and everyone has to listen. So, here
we go... I vividly remember being a sophomore and Brooke Bushman telling me "Just wait. The
time for you to give your senior speech will be here before you know it. You'll probably write a
novel and make it rhyme or something like that". Well, sorry to disappoint but I really have nothing

The amazing thing about my parents is that they truly and honestly only want to see me happy in
life. They never once got mad at me for swinging a ball or making a bad grade because they know
that I am trying my best. I am so grateful for this and so lucky to have parents like you guys. Okay,
now my dad may have taught me the whole marathon thing but nobody showed me how to sprint to
the finish line like my brother Tyson. I don't think anything prepared me for high school more than
Tyson's reality of forgetting to do UT quests becoming my nightmares. He is not here today so he
can't get mad at me for saying that plus it is the truth. Tyson was by far my biggest inspiration
throughout high school. Whatever he did I simply attempted to emulate. But when you have a
brother who finished 6th in his class and now attends the United States Naval Academy that is not
such a bad thing to do. To this day, my brother never ceases to amaze me. His hard work and
dedication to everything he does in life is quite admirable and I am so proud to call him my brother.

Geese in the rear of the V promote their encouragement by honking to one another during flight.
Like geese, we let each other know that if one of us should fall, there is a cushion of help and
support waiting. Some of us would have possibly given up if not for the inspiration of others. We
have depended upon each other to get the job done. We have stood beside on another for all these
years. Displaying our affection is done by simply being there for one another, again similar to the
goose. When one goose is unable to fly, two other geese will accompany it until it either dies or can
again return to the skies. They help nourish it by supplying it with food. They help protect it from
predators. And when the time arrives for it to fly again, they are right there beside it. As classmates
we were given the opportunity to establish lifelong friendships. Most of us seized it, even embraced
it with open arms. Like the geese, we helped to regenerate the faith we have in ourselves thus
enabling us to have faith in each other. Geese have perfected the art of sharing leadership. The lead
goose will fly at the tip of the V until it is so weary from breaking the wind for the other that it has
to rely on another to take its place. It will then fall back and let the air lift created by the others to
elevate it. One person, or goose, can get so far, but many are unstoppable. Together, we have

Thank you, we are truly honoured to have been selected as class valedictorians to represent the
voice of the 2017 graduating class. My name is Taha, and this is Sophia.L. I still can't believe some
of us have been here for 6 years and that we're graduating. It's all happening so fast. This is the
pinnacle moment where we overcome our first real educational obstacle – elementary school. We
students've have studied, laughed and matured together. We all have bright futures in front of us. But
before we embrace those futures, let us bask in the golden glow of fond memories during our
unforgettable time at Seneca Hill. We have gotten in trouble with teachers, such as pranking them on
April Fool's Day with whoopee cushions and KICK ME, I'M EVIL signs. (AHH! tThe secret's out)
However, no matter how naughty and annoying we are, wBut we know the teachers and staff will
still miss our loud classus, even as more kids join Seneca and fill the gap we're going to leave
behind. Our class is special in it's own way, especially as it's the last grade 6 class in this school. We
grade six students have been given many opportunities to try new things and test our skills. These
opportunities included amazing programs such as sports, robotics, track and field, and chess club.
They not only gave us a chance to enjoy ourselves, we also experience new settings outside of
school and gain lifelong skills. EQAO (evil questions attacking ontario) was a beast of a

Isn't it strange how princes and kings
And clowns who caper in sawdust rings
And common folk, like you and me
Are builders for eternity.
For each is given a bag of tools,
A shapeless mass, and a set of rules.
And each of us, a life is flown,
Must either build a stumbling block or stepping stone.
Builders for eternity ... what an awe–inspiring thought: That you and I not would be, nor could be,
but are builders for eternity. On this day, the seventh of June 2006, at our high school graduation

He put forth all the effort it took to make his dream a reality despite the odds against him. Martin
Luther King is a man who illustrated the third E beautifully.
The third E is for Essential. Imagine a world where everyone built himself into someone who was
essential to his family, neighborhood, or a group of otherwise lonely people. Martin Luther King
was a hero because he was essential to a suffering nation. He had another piece of advice that, when
heeded, will make us all essential members of any group. He said "Everyone can be great because
everyone can serve. You don't have to have a college degree to serve. You don't have to have your
subject and your verb agree. You only need a heart full of grace, a soul generated by love." If you do
nothing else, serve others with love and grace, and you will be an essential part of our world.
Do we enjoy being who we are? Are we putting 100% effort into who we are and what we are
doing? Are we an essential part of someone's life and a meaningful piece to society? Now, back to
the poem.

Good Morning, parents, friends, and last but not least to my fellow Graduates of Monroe High
School. It is an honor to stand before you all to deliver this speech for such a special occasion. To
the graduates, today is a very bittersweet moment for us all, as this ceremony marks the transition
from High School to college, the military, or the job industry. Let me begin by saying I am
extremely proud of the growth we have made as a class from our freshman year until this point.
Over the course of our four years in high school, we have matured into young adults ready to take
on the world. While each of our paths were different, we've each weathered the storm and I am
pleased to say that we've made it! This journey has been filled with so many unforgettable moments,
for many of us Monroe High School has been a place to maximize our potential as future leaders,
innovators, and thinkers. Firstly, I would like to begin by highlighting a few of our accomplishments
as a class academically, in the community and in athletics. To this date we have raised over five
million dollars in scholarships, with nine athletic signings, and a host of students going to college
with academic scholarships. As a class, we have been devoted to extending service to our
communities, whether it be through donating blood at the blood drive, sacrificing Thursday night's
at the closet, or simply volunteering to help out the teachers here at Monroe High School. Monroe
High School has always been commended

An Example of a Graduation Speech
Ladies and gentlemen, friends and families, teachers and graduates of 2014, good evening,
Over 5000 days of wondering – wondering if we would ever make it to this day. Tonight marks the
culmination of this long journey– we are the graduating class of 2014.
Graduation is one of those awkward times in our lives when we are torn between letting go of our
safe haven where we have many a cherished memory and anticipating a new path where the
destination is but a speck of hope. Should we look back on what were the greatest twelve years of
our lives– times filled with joy from the day we picked out our first schoolbags until the day we
emptied our lockers for the last time? Or should we focus on the next stage in this journey called
LIFE? We have been impatiently waiting for this day, and now, all we want to do is hit pause,
rewind, and play. We want to slow it down and enjoy the last fleeting moments, but we can't stop the
clock from ticking– it's time to let go and fly!
This long journey that began twelve years ago was a blank book, and we were all eager to fill the
pages. We will always look back on the days we spent from preschool to high school– those days
long ago, the world seemed so innocent; however, soon enough, we became aware that real life is
different, and we began to face some of the many experiences of adulthood. As the years passed, we
learned not to allow external circumstances to define us. That's right; our book was being written on
our own terms.
Every year,

smart person they could find. But she turned them down. So then they asked the most beautiful,
lovely, attractive person they could find. She also turned them down. Next they asked the nicest,
sweetest, kindest, most sincere person they could find. Then I decided it would be rude to turn them
down three times in a row, so here I am.

These lifeskills students have spent half of their days in job training experiences within our
community. This extra time and effort they put in has prepared them for the world of work and given
them courage to leave high school and work on their own.
These students, along with the entire graduating class of 2005 have put a real effort into making it
here today. I want to stress the importance of the diplomas we are receiving today. They are not easy
to come by. In fact, 24 percent of the students you started public school with did not make it to
graduation, that is one in every four. It was more difficult for some students than others to be here
today. They have been faced with obstacles, maybe family problems, substance abuse, health or
financial problems, whatever the case may be, they have struggled to survive and graduate with the
class of 2005. So as you leave today, and you're like, "We are so outta here" remember to be proud
of what you have accomplished. Graduating is not some little deal, it is a big landmark in your lives.
When I was first thinking of advice to give to our class I came up with two lists, one for the girls

Valedictorian
Good evening. We've done it graduates, thinking about this day since september 2016, tonight, we
gather together as one graduating class and a community to celebrate a journey, an adventure. Staff,
parents, guardians, siblings and friends we are glad you get to experience the graduation of the class
of 2017 with us. Each one of us has come so far since our first day in kindergarten no matter what
school we went to. As I look around at each and every graduate in this room, my mind is flooded
with memories. 10 years ago, when we all started elementary, a lot of us were most likely scared of
the grade 8's who were older and more knowledgeable than us. But now, just short years later, here
we are, wondering if the little ones are frightened by us. Another year at Orchard park has gone by
quick, but this one, being our last. Many memories have created this time In elementary school to be
one of a kind, and it is an honour to be speaking on behalf of each and everyone of us.
We are a truly unique and fun group of students who have definitely had some good laughs these
past few years and will remember them for time to come. From yogurt splatting onto our ceilIngs
and certain individuals stuck in elevators to incidents with sand, having competition between the
grade 8 classes to make snow forts, the grade 7 camping trip, the Ottawa grad trip, and I haven't
forgotten about our historical debates, I believe that it is truly the small details of these past years

In today's society, and I think among the students as well, there is a growing feeling of distrust with
our government and a feeling of "who cares." Well, it is now time to care. We whine and complain
about everything our government does, and we do nothing about it, and yet we're still upset because
nothing's changed. It's like we're armchair quarterbacks who really expect the football player to
actually hear us ranting and raving at the TV. We need to do something, and that is to vote. As
Lincoln said, "The ballot is stronger than the bullet."
There are also other ways to make a change in this world, however. Some of you may remember the
petition I passed around the lunches a few weeks back regarding the block schedule changes. It may
have seemed an insignificant, almost frivolous thing, but the point was to be heard; to make a
statement – that we can be heard and do have a say. And we were, at least in part, successful. I urge
you to do the same. Only now, in the "real world." Write a petition, sign a petition, vote, talk to your
legislators; write a letter to the newspaper. There are countless ways.
Now that we are in "the real world," and want to be a part of it, what do we do? We have the
responsibility to carefully examine it and become aware of it. And we have the technology to easily
do so. Even in just the past few years, the Internet, once just a small collection of "computer nerds"
chatting with each other, has exploded to

Attention Grabbing Step: After years of writing papers, doing homework, taking an occasional pop
quiz, and of course taking countless exams, it is that time that we all anticipate...Graduation!
Purpose Statement: Since the majority of us are seniors, and graduation is a little less than a month
away, I am going to provide you with some historical background information and some fun facts
about graduation in order to make the occasion even more meaningful than it already is. Road Map:
Most of you could probably agree that high school was quite the experience with several ups and
downs along the way. No matter which direction you seemed to be heading, the end destination for
everyone is graduation. Need Step: Sometimes referred to as commencement, the graduation
ceremony serves many purposes. Mostly, the ceremony is considered a rite of passage and marks a

spent on graduation celebrations. I guess you could say graduating is a big thing! Although most
understand the basic concept behind graduation, have you wondered what the history behind the

Satisfaction Step: According to Yahoo answers.com, the origin of the graduation ceremony began in

Graduation Speech : A Speech
In the commencement speech entitled "This is Water," the speaker came to highlight to the graduates
at the commencement ceremony, what the "real world "was like because he thought they are not
alert enough to know. He made reference to this through the anecdote at the beginning where the
two young fish didn't know what water was and of course water is life to fishes. Therefore, the
speaker found it necessary to tell what life was really about through a commencement speech
because of his opinion that they may have limited knowledge concerning it. In paragraph 6 of his
speech, he states "The plain fact is that you graduating seniors do not yet have any clue what 'day in,

He went into close detail of distributing the experiences in order to develop a connection with his
audience. He wanted his audience to feel and imagine what he is describing and this helped to get
his argument across to the graduate. He gave the impression to the graduates that these experiences
may have taken place at least one with them but it will now become a life routine.
The speaker made the point about the way of thinking that one will entails when these experiencing
has become a day–to–day practice. He spoke how "choosing" and "default setting" way of thinking
that he adapted and he exclaimed that most of the graduate will develop it is "automatic." He states
in paragraph 9 "it's going to seem, everybody else is just in my way, and who are all those people in
my way? And look at how repulsive most of them are and how stupid and cow–like and dead–eyed
and nonhuman they seem here in checkout line.......I'm starved and tire and I can't even get home to
eat and unwind because of all these stupid god–damn people." The argument that the speaker is
leaving the audience to implying is that with the education and credentials that he acquires, he
regrets that he has to be going through these hard and struggling situation. As previously said, adults
and older folks may experience these circumstances so the speaker concluded that the people around

Welcome to the residency graduation ceremony for the class of 2017. I am greatly honored to be
given the opportunity to address my graduating class.
As individuals and as a group, we have worked hard, we toiled, we endured, and we have come out
better, with more passion and more confidence than when we began. We have survived all the
different rotations, shifts, and calls, the sleepless nights and the chaos and adrenaline of the
emergency room duty and the rigorous training examinations. I believe we are all proud to have
made it to this day. In all sincerity, today represents a landmark achievement for each of us and our
families. It is to our loved ones and all those who encouraged us through this long journey from
preschool through residency that we owe our deepest thanks. The encouragement from family,
friends, colleagues, faculty, staff and strangers have played a vital role in our success.

We live in a time in which everything is categorized by lists, whether it's a dreaded school rubric or
a David Letterman Top Ten List. As the millennium turns, we are deluged with lists: the best books
of the millennium, the greatest songs of the millennium, the most influential people of the
millennium. Personally, I may be sick of all these lists, but no graduating class of 2006 could let this
occasion slip by without one more list: The Top Ten Things I Learned in High School. So listen
along and see if your experience parallels mine. Here goes:

Talent, drive and strength sometimes are well–hidden in that little short girl with the curly hair who
just needs a chance.
Lesson No. 7: Chemistry closets are not a good place to hide away from the world. They may be an
easy solace in times of despair, but eventually you have to put down the chemicals and come out
again.
Lesson No. 6: Now that my teachers no longer have the power to adjust my grades, I'd still like to
point out that most teachers really do care. That's why they're here, not for the long summer
vacations or the short paychecks. Whether you knew it or not, they had a great influence on each
and every one of us. They deserve a thank–you, even the ones who actually made you work.
Lesson No. 5: After careful analysis of speech patterns, I have discovered that it is impossible ... to
... speak ... more ... slowly ... than ... our ... principal. At least no one ever has any difficulty
understanding him.
Lesson No. 4: It is not necessary to wake up at 3:30 a.m. to get a senior parking–lot permit. But if

Lesson No. 3: Grades aren't everything. It took me a long time to learn this one. I thought
achievement was measured by the first four letters of the alphabet – really, by the first letter alone.
But what I've discovered is that there are many better ways to measure our worth as students and as
people: how much we've really learned and retained, and what we do with that

Graduation Speech Essay
Welcome staff, students, family, and graduates. Today marks a special day in our lives. Today is the
day of our graduation. It seems with every graduating class there is a certain amount of
responsibility placed on the graduates. For this year's class it is no different, in fact more has been
placed on this class than any others in history. The Class of 2006 is going to shape our world for the
21st century; the Class of 2006 is going to improve our lives and our country. We can talk all we
want about the things we want to accomplish or change, but if we do not reach out for opportunities,
then all of these ideas are fantasies. This is what I want to talk about with all of you today. First,
what is an opportunity? An opportunity ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
To her, sacrificing a couple of hours of sleep on the weekend was worth making a positive impact on
the hungry and lonesome. She did not let the opportunity to help those less fortunate pass her by.
How about the young man graduating tonight who paid little attention to studying or his grades until
his junior year? As a senior he not only improved on his GPA, but put countless hours helping with
the senior auction, Mr. CHS, and Prom. He took the opportunity to help his school and his class. I
cannot forget to mention the Key Club members who worked long hours in unpleasant weather
collecting canned food to give to families in our community. These are just some examples of how
students have reached out to opportunities that took them out of their comfort zone. Many of us
become so comfortable in our place that we do not want to help or reach out for fear that we might
lose what we already have. We become content in doing the same thing over and over again. We try
to justify our reasons for not doing anything by telling ourselves that someone else will do it or by
questioning our ability. What could I do? I couldn't make a difference. How selfish it is for someone
who has been blessed with the talent and capabilities to just sit there and do nothing. Just think
where our country would be if Martin Luther King Jr. had told himself that he could not make a
difference. The seating arrangements in this stadium tonight might be very different. We should not

Parents, friends, staff, and fellow graduates,
I like that word, graduates. In fact, I like that word so much, that I decided to look it up in the
dictionary for the heck of it. And beyond the obvious definitions I found, there was one that plainly
stuck out. "To change gradually". Now if you think about it, I guess that sums up all our years of
schooling right there. I mean, I can still remember back to first grade and racing home to watch the
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles defeat Shredder and the evil foot soldiers. Of course, Michelangelo
was my favorite because he was the care–free surfer turtle that every boy dreamed of being like.
Well, cartoons didn't last long in junior high, and my first real change occurred because of the ...

When your boyfriend or girlfriend just said it's all over, your friends were there for you. When you
waited until the very last moment to finish that project and needed help, your friends were there for
you. And whenever you needed someone to talk with or a shoulder to cry on, your friends were
always there for you. Out of all the lessons we have been taught, none are greater then the lessons
we have received from our friends. Before you go today, don't let the opportunity to say one final
goodbye to your fellow companions slip by. For they are the true gifts of high school that we will
never forget and hold in our hearts for the rest of our lives.
So now it's time to complete another phase of our "gradual change" by taking a final step away from
home and into the real world. But the question is, how will we do this. Will we charge through any
barriers we encounter in a relentless pursuit of our dream, or will we aimlessly walk the road of life
and turn around whenever struggles come our way. It's easy for us to think of a dream, but
something else to touch it. Many have gone after their goals passively and failed to ever reach the
peak of the mountain they so tirelessly climbed. However, others have dedicated themselves to their
dream and fought like a raging bull to see it become a reality. My challenge for us today, is to be that
raging bull and climb to the top of our mountain with passion. When a

Good evening family, friends, faculty, administration, and lastly fellow "soon to be" graduates of
Haywood Middle School. It is an honor and a privilege to welcome each and every one of you to the
Haywood Middle School graduation. It is just so remarkable to think that our past three years at
HMS are officially coming to a close. The past three years have been full of twists and turns that
have been made by countless challenges to overcome, whether they be social or academic.
Once again, I must reiterate the importance of this prodigious achievement for us to be graduating
from middle school, One of the key steps in your academic success. Today – right here on this stage
you will witness us receiving something that is a representation of all our hard work and diligence
we've vested within our education over the past three years. Now it is time to flip the page and begin
another fulfilling and interesting chapter of our lives – High School. I think some of the most
momentous events in a student's life is none other than graduations. And since it is the end of this
stage in our education, it brings us a mixture of joy and pain. Joy for reaching our goals, and pain
for saying goodbye to the people who became a part of our lives and helped us succeed here at

I won't speak long today for two reasons. The first being that I remember my high school graduation
and I couldn't tell you who spoke or how many speakers there even were; all I remember is the that
person in front of me had one of the old Gameboys and was playing Tetris. Everyone was so
enthralled with what the speakers were saying that a group of about 30 of my classmates were
leaning in and watching him play Tetris. One of the funniest things I ever saw was a picture taken of
my graduating class and seeing the right half of the graduates sitting peacefully and left half all
leaning in to watch a single person play a black and white video game. Which illustrates my second
point perfectly: that you don't really want to listen to me. You want to go out and prove to the rest of
the world what everyone here at Bulls already knows: that no matter how many late nights or hours
of perseverance it takes for you to achieve your goals, you will achieve them, and nothing can stop
you.
I could stand up here and rave about Bulls. That the group of people that work there is one of the
most diverse and incredible groups of people I have ever had the chance to meet. But I won't
because why should I waste your time telling you things you already know? All the time and effort
that the professors and administrators have put in over these last few years of your life hasn't been
because they just wanted the paycheck so they can buy that dream car they always wanted. And if

To the County High School Class of 2012: As you sit in front of me, I know what most of you are
thinking at the moment. There are those who are already pondering about what life without high

whispers of adoration you've secretly held for four years; some simply want to get out of that

For the moment, please do not dwell on the past or even look into the future, there's time for that
later. Instead, I ask that you give up a few minutes of your lives to sit back, let that gown flow and
enjoy the final curtain call of your high school career. Enjoy the sights and sounds of today, right
now; and be aware of the mindfulness opening your senses and releasing your inhibitions can
summon.
Feel the tingle on your eyes; it is trying to tell you something so pay attention to it. Look, do you see
it? That's anxiety, a thick and pulsating anxiety that is flowing through the air right now from person
to person. It is a stream of consciousness that is multiplied in this medium only because we all have
the same questions: Do I have time to go to the bathroom? When will this Asian fool shut up? Who
is this guy sitting next to me and why is he so ugly? The anxiety will not die. Capture the anxiety in
your mind as a visual aspect of tonight. Remember it.
Let the twitch in your ear awake your emotions. Listen carefully. It's the sound of a gloomy day.
What is usually a dismal tune is now replaced with the bittersweet melody of our graduation
ceremony under the clouds. Ask yourself, when was the last time you realized the song, instead of
the sight of a day? Capture the drizzle as an audio aspect of tonight. Remember it.

The day I graduated from high school
The High school graduation day is a life full of journeys for everyone, high school life is a
memorable time for most people, for me as well. High school can be filled with lots of good
memories for some people and it could be filled with bad memories, for me it was both I had good
times and I had bad times. The High school Graduation day should definitely be the best day of your
life because that means no more high school, no more having to wake up at 6 a.m., no more having
to hear your parents say "do you have homework" or "you have to go to bed at a certain time", no
more seeing people that you don't get along with in high school. Everyone has the choice of being
able to move and having your own place, experiencing college or traveling the world by yourself or
your best friends and also having the ability to be more independent in yourself. In my case I feel
like I accomplish something, making my family and friends proud and looking back at May 2015 , it
was the best day of my life graduating from high school.
On May 28, 2015 Lisa woke up to the sound of my mother barging into her room saying "its
graduation day you finally made it "even though she just woke up she couldn't help but smile and
started happy dancing with her mom. Lisa looks in the mirror and said to herself "I accomplished all
my four years of high school," she then looks to her mom and saw that she started crying. Lisa also

Are you ready for the real world? Will I am ready, and I want to help you out. ... I want to pump you
up! Tonight marks a turning point in our lives as young adults. This milestone of graduating with a
high school education has come at last. And yet, knowledge does not exist solely in scholarly facts,
but more so in the relationships and friendships that we have forged along the way. Albert
Schweitzer once said, "At times our own light goes out and is rekindled by a spark from another
person. Each of us has cause to think with deep gratitude of those who have lighted the flame within
us." As I look at the graduating class of 2012 I am reminded of the unique gifts each one of us has to

Do you remember going to build a float and getting pumped up for homecoming? Some of these
memories we will remember and some we will be happy to forget. We have all shared in this
journey together, and now we embark on our own, to find out what life has in store for us.
Our futures are uncharted and could change each time new frontiers present themselves. Are we
ready to take on the challenges and responsibilities that lie ahead? We all know that the future can be
unpredictable, even downright scary. So today I thought I would ask my good friend Grover from
Sesame Street for some advice. "The Monster at the End of this Book, Starting Lovable, Furry Old
Grover," written by Jon Stone:
"What did you say? On the first page, what did that say? Did that say there will be a monster at the
end of this book?? It did? Oh I am so scared of monsters!!! Shhh, listen, I have an idea. If you do
not turn any pages, we will never get to the end of this book. And that is good, because there is a
monster at the end of this book. So please do not turn the page. You turned the page!!! Maybe you
do not understand. You see, turning pages will bring us to the end of this book, and there is a
Monster at the end of this book . . . but this will stop you from turning pages. See? I am tying the
pages together so you cannot. You turned another page!!! You do not know what you are doing to
me! Now . . . stop turning pages!!! There! I, Grover, am nailing this page to the

Edgar Allan Poe once said, "All that we see or seem is but a dream within a dream." The 13 years
that I have spent attending school have quickly passed through my life as if a dream, much as I
imagine it did Edgar Allan Poe. I can still remember my first day of school in Vietnam when I was
five years old. Timid and scared, I held my mother's hand tightly, frightened that if I let go, I would
lose her forever. My mother looked at me and said gently in Vietnamese: "Su hoc nhu thuyen tren

We represent different ways of viewing the world and of understanding religion, ethnicity,
philosophy and political ideology. Yes indeed, these valued differences between us are often the
cause of dissension and we occasionally forget the fact that these, with all of their enriching
potential, are the catalysts that contribute to make life at Harding Community College more
meaningful. As I struggled all night writing my speech, a host of emotions welled up in me as I
reflected on the experiences and memories gained during my time at Harding Community College.
The experiences may have been unanticipated, but they are just as important as the knowledge
acquired at this institution. The more I reflected, the more I came to appreciate the invaluable
education that has been gained by all of us. This education has given us the basis for a mesmerizing
and rich intellectual life. It has trained all of us to become critical thinkers and compassionate
human beings. It has given us the opportunity for our minds to be invigorated by academic diversity
and has allowed us to become part of this community as this community has become a part of us.
This valuable education has inspired us and given us the power to realize our dreams by helping us
to recognize and take advantage of opportunities. We have learned to open our eyes and focus on the
world of accelerating change and to deal with the uncertainty of that change. While preparing us

For some of you graduates, this will be the last ceremony you might ever sit through. Most of us,
though, and I regret that I am in this group, will sit through many more ceremonies –– ceremonies
longer and more tedious that this or anything else you can imagine. If you think this is bad, try a

bad, just be thankful you have never attended or will attend a Bar Mitzvah.
The only ceremony I think anybody would truly enjoy attending is a funeral. But, only if you are

What I did, was grab a random book off my book shelf. Then I chose a random page from that
randomly chosen book. And then, I chose a random sentence, from that randomly chosen page, from
that randomly chosen book. The results were interesting, if not remarkable. I think it's a great theme
and so let me share. My book was Emily Bronte's "Wuthering Heights," my page was page 10,
chapter two. My quote, and as of now, theme for my speech, is: "My neighbor struck me as
bordering on repulsive, I knew, through experience, that I was tolerably attractive." Wow! I think
that, that is one great theme. It works.
(Pull out pocket mirror)
I am tolerably attractive. As for my neighbor. Well, you be the judge. Really, what are the chances of
two attractive people sitting next to each other. Not likely. Why not try it yourselves. Visualize
yourself, or if you have access to a mirror, look at yourself. Alluring huh? I bet you have to admit,
you're tolerably attractive. Who are you kidding? You are foxy. You are a fox. If you were a Quentin
Tarantino movie, you would be Foxy Brown. Now tear yourself away from your own adorable self
and turn to your right. See that person. Pretty appalling. If it's a man, he's not very handsome is he?
If it's a woman, not very pretty is she? And if you cannot tell what sex it is? Well I have got three

Picture the first day of summer bridge or your first day of high school, approximately five thousand
seven hundred sixty hours later, we're here ready to accept our diplomas, be done with high school,
and finish this long and tumultuous chapter of our lives. Most of us started this journey four years
ago with a handful of staff members and no idea what high school would be like. I had expectations
of dusty textbooks, wrinkled teachers, and a lot more than what we got. I expected to be an average
student who did nothing remarkable because that was the kind of student I was. From the beginning
we knew of the changes that would occur but, that never made them easier to deal with. Resiliency
has been what the last four years has been defined as. Being the inaugural class, has forced us to
grow in ways we never expected but, we created traditions and made lasting legacies. We may not
have had all the things we wanted, but rest assure we always ate swell. I truly believe I have eaten

We are knocking on the door of total independence, something we have never fully understood. We
have just barely begun the trip on the roller coaster of life and already it seems like we've had quite a
ride. Some of us will go on to college, some will enter into the work force, and most of us are still
undecided. But whichever path we take, it won't be easy and believe me, a year or two from now
you're gonna wish you were back at good old LHS because the term "9 to 5" is going to take on a

Our graduation is our coming of age, our right of passage. As we walk across this stage we are

the stupid things we did.

Good afternoon. Today I have been asked to speak about graduation past, present and future. My
first graduation occurred when I finished kindergarten. This is often where we learn the most basic
of principles. This is what I learned: Share everything. Play fair. Don't hit people. Put things back
where you found them. Don't take things that are not yours. Say you're sorry when you hurt
somebody. Wash your hands before you eat. Don't forget to flush. Warm cookies and cold milk are
good for you. Live a balanced life. Learn some and think some, and draw, paint, sing, dance, play
and work a little bit everyday. Take a nap in the afternoon. When you go out into the world, watch

priority. Classmates Tammy Kheradmand, Dwight Franklin and Scott Napier supported me when I

family members and friends here today who helped me in some way. So you see, I did not get to this

A boy once approached Socrates with the desire to obtain wisdom. Without saying a word, Socrates
led the boy down to the edge of the sea and walked in, beckoning him to follow. When they were
standing waist deep in the water, Socrates pushed the boy down, completely submerging his head.
He held him thus for a couple of minutes, until the boy was almost to the point of death, before
letting him up. Sputtering and angry, the boy demanded to know why Socrates had held him
underwater for so long. In response, Socrates asked, "when you were under the water, what did you
want more than anything in the world?"
After a moment's reflection, the boy answered, "I wanted to breathe."

Learning should be an ongoing activity in every life. There is never a point it should stop, nor is
there a time when it is no longer needed. Although we will soon be receiving a high school diploma
and may have passed some of the more challenging classes in high school, there is still a tremendous
amount of information and wisdom in this world we have to acquire. However, this lack of
knowledge is not something that should set us back. We should instead see it as a great opportunity.
I know I don't know everything, and I think that is the best thing to know: the fact that there will
always be more to learn and discover.
We have access to a great wealth of information. Through the Internet we can find just the
information we are looking for within a matter of minutes. Just a couple of decades ago, that same
task may have taken days or weeks. We have access to so much, but with that comes a
responsibility. We have the responsibility to decide what we are going to learn and how we are going
to spend the time we have to learn. The knowledge we acquire will not only affect our lives and our
endeavors, but it will also affect the lives of the next generation. What we learn is what we will
teach. And what we teach is what the next generation will

Good evening, ladies and gentlemen. On behalf of the 2012 graduating class of County High
School, I would like to welcome you to our commencement ceremony. As valedictorian of this class
I would like to speak to you, and my fellow graduates about responsibility, but first I would like to
tell you a little story
D.L. Moody told the story of a passenger on an Atlantic steamer who lay in his bunk during a raging
storm with a severe case of sea sickness. Suddenly he heard the cry, "Man overboard." "May God
help that poor fellow," he prayed, "but there's nothing I can do." Then he thought, "I can at least put

He has also promised to always be with us in our time of need as it says in Hebrews chapter 13
verse 5, "I will never leave you nor forsake you."
Another excuse might be, "I am not as talented as others, so why should I be responsible for being a
witness?" I find this excuse to be the most objectionable. Those who say this deny that special talent
that God has given them. When people say, "I am not as talented as others, so I cannot be a witness,"
they deny that very, very special talent that God in His infinite wisdom has seen fit to give them!
I would like to share with you the parable of the talents. Now I am sure you have all heard this
before, so I will make my comments on the passage brief. Jesus told of a master with three servants:
to one he gave 5 talents, to another he gave 2 talents, and to the last he gave 1 talent. The master
then left for a long journey. Each servant did as he chose with the money. The first and second
servants did as they were told and wisely put their talents to work, but the third servant just hid his
talent.
When the master came back, he came to his servants and asked them what they had done with the
talents he had given them. He then rewarded the first and second servants for their hard work with
their talents, but he punished the third

Principle Bedette, fellow teachers, parents, friends and family, and most especially you – the
graduating class of 2017.
A few of you might read the news from time to time. It's a tough business speaking at graduation.
When the Vice President spoke this year at Notre Dame University, students walked out on him. A
couple weeks ago in California, students protested the Dalai Lama when he came to speak.
These are famous people. The students here at Newfane Senior High decided to play it safe and
invite somebody with a lower profile. Here I am.
Where are the protest signs?
It is considered an honor to give a graduation speech. But I can assure you, there is no greater honor
than to teach you. I am sure that if you ask any of my colleagues, they will say the same thing.
Parents, you should be proud. This graduating class is filled with good people.
150 smart people who will make America strong.
150 good people who will make humanity better.
150 brave people who will make you proud.
At a graduation, the speaker usually says things like, "This is the first day of the rest of your life."
Things like, "The world is yours to conquer."
Things like, "Go out and take chances."
Things like, "Look at every obstacle as an opportunity."
These are all such corny lines. I'm sure you don't want to hear me repeat them here today.
Well, too bad! I just did.
I did, because they are true. As you make you make your way along the path of life, you'll find that

Graduation Speech Essay
Well Class of 2012, we did it! We are graduating. All the hard work we have done to graduate has
paid off. All the final exams, the many steps we've taken up and down Gadd High's halls, to the gym
for practice, up to the cafeteria to connect with friends, down to the library, up to the playing fields
–– they're all over. After today, our lives will be changed forever. Before that happens, let's take a
look at the last four years of memories and even go back to those memories from our elementary
and middle school years and collect them into a book; our own book, our book of life. If, some day,
people could read our individual book, what would they learn from them?
Have you ever read a book you just couldn't put down? A book that was so ... Show more content on

Now, we're at the chapter–titled "Graduation." No matter how much we might want to slow down
the page being read today, we can't. For now, the book is becoming far too interesting.
We all have written different and fascinating chapters in our books from experiences at Gadd High
School. Chapters filled with the friendships we've made, the sports teams we've played on, and the
school's activities we've been a part of, ones such as drama, band, Homecoming, Winter Ball, Tolo,
and most recently prom. Even just looking back a couple of years ago, who could forget the
excitement of driving for the first time without Mom or Dad? Some of us also have the memories
from work, difficult family struggles and pressure to get the last few credits. These experiences have
made our books exciting. In fact, what we have written makes us proud to be up here today.
My chapters are filled with the memories of friends, good times, laughter and late nights doing
work. Now after tonight, this graduation ceremony and the grad night party will be added to my
book. I'm proud to be a part of this class and I will always remember the humor and good nature of
how this class can face difficult obstacles with a smile. A tough assignment assigned, tons of work
to do, it didn't matter. We faced it head on and got the job done. There are many things I'm going to
miss: my friends, the basketball team, and most of all, the people who have made a big impact in my
life.

Graduation Speech Essay
Students, faculty, family, friends, on this exciting day, I speak to optimism, laughter, and grins.
As I was gathering input for this graduation speech, several people suggested including a profound
quote offering "encouraging advice to the young graduates", and then there were others who said,
"eh don't worry about it, no one listens to those anyway." Fortunately, I was actually able to take
from both suggestions and found a happy balance.
You see, I won't tell you today to: "Dare to dream" or "Find your own vision" or even to "Strive for
excellence," or any trite cliché that's ever been said in a graduation speech. So this might not be your
typical commencement. I have no list of "Do's and Don'ts" for you. I don't have any funny ... Show

And we've all heard our parents say "we trust you" followed by a "be home by 12 o clock".
Life is one big contradiction and you'll drive yourself crazy if you try to figure it out. So don't.
Embrace it. Laugh at it a bit. Whatever you do, don't take it too seriously. Those are some of the
ways I have made it through these past four years at McNeil.
You see, the biggest contradiction I have noticed so far is the stress that is put on the big things in
life when it is really all the little things scattered in between when I find I'm most happy. It's those
seemingly insignificant, random pieces of time that have kept me going throughout the crazies
thrown at us as and they keep me laughing, smiling, and moving on. Whether it's playing Halo and
focusing on getting that next running riot, chatting and profile–snooping on AIM, or hearing a
pointless story told from a friend––it's those little moments of carefree smiling that I feel get
overlooked.
With AP classes, national honor this, mu alpha that, drum practice here, yearbook deadline there,
flag twirling up, singing voices coming down, and bells ring ringing all in between, it's no wonder
we students have been rushing through the motions of our ritualistic high school lives. By the time
we make it home, create time for dinner, toss a wave to the parents, and start our homework, the
days begin to blur into nights and before you know it there goes the gross alarm reminding you it is
time

Welcome Speech : A Graduation Speech
(Graduates of Saint Joseph's University class of 2020, I, Nicole Schall welcome you here today to
this wonderful celebration. It is so nice to see all of your smiling faces together one last time. I
would like to thank President Reed, the administration, and that crazy professor who almost who
almost failed me freshman year for the opportunity to speak here today. The one who almost caused
me not to be standing here today. First and foremost, graduates, congratulations on all of your
achievements thus far. Parents, professors, friends and family you should be proud of each and every
graduate sitting here on St. Mary's lawn today. Give yourself a round of an applause. (round of
applause sound effect) Can you believe it is already graduation? Time really does fly when you're
having fun am I right? I can only speak for myself, but I'm sure many will agree with me that
freshman move–in day seems like yesterday. But truth be told you all have grown since freshman
move–in day, not just in height, or from the freshman fifteen, you are all smarter, brighter, and ready
to take on the world.) [(A)College is four years full of learning in the classroom but also learning
about yourself as an individual. We all can name a number of terms and books that we have
memorized, but what we have really learned has come from experiences, trial, and error. How is an
eighteen–year–old lost and confused teenager supposed to know what they wanted to do for the rest
of their life, quite

College Speech : My Graduation Speech
"I always thought I would sink so I never swam", but Peirce showed me that I wouldn't sink. My
eight years at Peirce is something I will never forget. Something that I'll think about if I'm ever
down. Something that makes me realize that I can do it, and I will, because my success is up to me,
and only me. Over the years I have learned such an immense amount that it's hard to even begin. My
time here left me with so much more experience and skill that if you were to tell me eight years ago
how amazing and supportive everyone is to help you succeed, I wouldn't believe you. Everyone staff
member, every student, everyone wants you to do your best. We are a community of supporters, and
that's the best kind of community. Together everyone has grown and grown and there is still much
more to come, but I'm sure everyone one of us graduating class of 2017 will be ready for it.
Firstly, I was taught to believe in myself, and to take opportunities. To know to give it a try because
even if you're wrong, you took your opportunity. I was taught that every opened door is a door to
walk through, because once in a lifetime opportunities happen, and we can't just let them go simply
out of fear. I can remember even at my start t Peirce, in first grade I would raise my hand because I
Felt accepted, I wasn't scared, because I was immediately welcomed into such a warm community
of people. I never thought I'd be where I am today, going to one of the best high schools in the state,
or even nation, and it is thanks to Pierce. Even small opportunities were meant to be taken because
every chance ins one in the right direction. Meaning extra credit, or placement test for his dhool, it
all adds up, it's culmintive. Peirce gave the motivation and the eyes to seek out any opportunity
going forward into high school.
As for academic skills, oh, don't even get me started. I have learned so much each and every year
that I'm personally amazed. From not being able to spell my name, to analyzing, finding deeper
meanings and themes within such rich literature pieces. From not knowing how to properly perform
addition to being able to solve quadratics in no time. From being confused on how to simply work a
computer to being able to write code for

Graduation Speech : High School
Throughout life people go through so many adversities. Whether it be good or bad there is always
something that arises out of the situation. One of the most thrilling, but yet frightening events to take
place throughout someone's life would be graduation. For many people, graduating from high school
is an objective. It takes a lot of time, effort, and determination to accomplish that goal. For others
graduation is the end of high school, and the beginning of a new chapter in life. When graduated
people feel as if adulthood has begun. In the long run, graduating opens a lot of opportunities for
people to thrive.
I can almost reminisce the day as if it was yesterday. I was sitting in bed like any other school day. It
seemed to me that this would be a great day. Although I was tired because I hadn't been to school in
almost a month, except to practice a walk through for graduation, I slowly pulled my lifeless body
out of my warm bed. I then began to go to the bathroom where I would shower, shave, brush my
teeth, get dressed, and do my hair. I began to look at myself in the mirror and thought to myself how
important today would be for me and my family. After I was all dressed and ready for the big day, I
made my way downstairs to eat breakfast. The smell of pancakes, bacon, and eggs filled the air with
an appealing fragrance. I knew this would be a day to remember. My family then walked in the
kitchen to join my mother and I. they asked me if I was excited about the day

Welcome Speech For Graduation Speech

  • 1. Welcome Speech For Graduation Speech Good morning respected guests and members of the community, staff, family, friends and fellow graduates. Let me begin by welcoming you all to today's event and thanking Ms. Pavlou, Ms. Barresi, Ms. Adamo, Mr. Tenaglia, and _____ . I am absolutely honored to be standing here representing the graduating class of 2017. On behalf of the graduates, I would like to thank you for joining us on this auspicious occasion. Today is one of those great occasions when we get the opportunity to celebrate our achievements, our perseverance and successes as we grow up. It is one of the times that we can reflect just how much we have accomplished and grown in our years at 141. Graduation is a time of reflecting on the past and looking onward to the future. It can be seen as a coming of age, an official way to recognize when a person steps into a new stage of life, and graduates, we are stepping into a new stage. It is a time that we, as graduates, get together for one last hurrah before moving on to bigger and better adventures. This year we have a very unique and exceptional group of students who are graduating. We have grown, changed, and experienced so much together. As we look back upon three amazing years, it is incontrovertible that IS 141 has played an instrumental role in helping to shape the individuals we are today. There is something most definitely unique about IS 141. There is a magic at this school that is inimitable, and we have been incredibly fortunate to experience ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

  • 3. Graduation Speech : College Admissions During a typical high school graduation, speeches are given by a select few, notable students. These notable students normally include the two students who earned the highest grade point averages out of all the students in their graduating class – the valedictorian and the salutatorian. Imagine a graduation, however, with no valedictorian or salutatorian speech. Imagine if there was no valedictorian or salutatorian. Imagine if there was no distinction of students ' academic performance during commencement or during the process of college admissions. While it may seem like no big deal – it may sound like a blessing when the length of a graduation ceremony is considered – the impact of a class ranking extends far beyond the privilege of giving a speech on graduation day. Class rankings are a vital component of high schools, and eradicating them would be detrimental to both colleges and students in many ways. Class rankings provide colleges with data needed for evaluating applicants. Some colleges have a plethora of applicants and need a simple way to narrow the pool down, while others use the information for awarding scholarships. Knowing that a student pushed himself or herself to be the best makes the process easier. In a study of 2,175 high schools by the National Association of Secondary School Principals (NASSP), it was found that "the 1,109 college admissions officers who responded to the survey said class rankings are among the four most important factors considered on ... Every graduate present here is deserving of high praise and recognition and I would like to congratulate each of you on reaching this milestone in life. Just as you have stood by me and helped me accomplish so many goals, I hope to be able to fulfill many of your dreams. To my little sister, thank you for keeping the child inside of me alive, for always finding a way to put a smile on my face, and for your honesty. Last but not least, I am proud to share this moment with my father, thank you for your support, guidance, and for the lifelong values and morals you have instilled in me, a person whose wisdom and spirituality I deeply admire. I am extremely grateful and thankful to be the first child in my family that my parents will witness graduate from secondary school. To my family, I may not say it enough, but I love you all more than words can express and without your presence in my life, I don't know where or who I would be. • 7. Essay about Graduation Speech The first day of kindergarten, we clung to our parents afraid of the new experiences that awaited us. We looked around at all of the other faces not sure what to think. Fear and doubt crippled us. Little did we know that this day was the beginning of a journey stock full of obstacles and rewards. Kindergarten was a breeze. We learned the ABCs, made friends, and finally counted to one hundred. Then we went into elementary. We saw new students join our classes throughout these long but short elementary years. Teachers could see boys and girls running away from each other screaming, "Ew, you got cooties!" We graduated from eighth grade and enjoyed our summer thinking about becoming a freshman in high school. When September rolled around, butterflies hit. Once again we were the youngest, but it wasn't so bad. We made new friends and lost old friends. We challenged ourselves with difficult classes and took easy classes. Throughout high school we looked forward to this day. The day that our journey would end. We have overcome all the obstacles and received all the rewards for doing our best. Tonight we receive the ultimate reward, our diplomas. There is no way we could have accomplished this great feat alone. A great part of our success was given to us by our teachers. They taught us new information. They taught us to respect people and things that we would never have respected otherwise. Our thank you's and appreciation should be given to those teachers who understood us and helped us defeat our obstacles when we had to face them. We owe our success to teachers for helping us through the end of this difficult journey. Thank you to all of our teachers. We must also thank and appreciate our parents. Lauren will be attending the University of Texas at Austin to study Mechanical Engineering this fall. Lauren is a three year letterman and will be graduating as Ridge Point's class of 2017 Salutatorian. Well, the time has come for me to finally put in my two cents and everyone has to listen. So, here we go... I vividly remember being a sophomore and Brooke Bushman telling me "Just wait. The time for you to give your senior speech will be here before you know it. You'll probably write a novel and make it rhyme or something like that". Well, sorry to disappoint but I really have nothing proud like that to share. For me, softball was always just a game. Okay, now my dad may have taught me the whole marathon thing but nobody showed me how to sprint to the finish line like my brother Tyson. I don't think anything prepared me for high school more than Tyson's reality of forgetting to do UT quests becoming my nightmares. He is not here today so he can't get mad at me for saying that plus it is the truth. Tyson was by far my biggest inspiration throughout high school. Whatever he did I simply attempted to emulate. But when you have a brother who finished 6th in his class and now attends the United States Naval Academy that is not such a bad thing to do. To this day, my brother never ceases to amaze me. Geese in the rear of the V promote their encouragement by honking to one another during flight. Like geese, we let each other know that if one of us should fall, there is a cushion of help and support waiting. Some of us would have possibly given up if not for the inspiration of others. We have depended upon each other to get the job done. We have stood beside on another for all these years. Displaying our affection is done by simply being there for one another, again similar to the goose. When one goose is unable to fly, two other geese will accompany it until it either dies or can again return to the skies. They help nourish it by supplying it with food. They help protect it from predators. And when the time arrives for it to fly again, they are right there beside it. As classmates we were given the opportunity to establish lifelong friendships. Most of us seized it, even embraced it with open arms. Like the geese, we helped to regenerate the faith we have in ourselves thus enabling us to have faith in each other. Geese have perfected the art of sharing leadership. The lead goose will fly at the tip of the V until it is so weary from breaking the wind for the other that it has to rely on another to take its place. Valedictory Speech : Graduation Speech For Students Valedictory speech Thank you, we are truly honoured to have been selected as class valedictorians to represent the voice of the 2017 graduating class. My name is Taha, and this is Sophia.L. I still can't believe some of us have been here for 6 years and that we're graduating. It's all happening so fast. This is the pinnacle moment where we overcome our first real educational obstacle – elementary school. We students've have studied, laughed and matured together. We all have bright futures in front of us. But before we embrace those futures, let us bask in the golden glow of fond memories during our unforgettable time at Seneca Hill. We have gotten in trouble with teachers, such as pranking them on April Fool's Day with whoopee cushions and KICK ME, I'M EVIL signs. (AHH! tThe secret's out) However, no matter how naughty and annoying we are, wBut we know the teachers and staff will still miss our loud classus, even as more kids join Seneca and fill the gap we're going to leave behind. Our class is special in it's own way, especially as it's the last grade 6 class in this school. We grade six students have been given many opportunities to try new things and test our skills. These opportunities included amazing programs such as sports, robotics, track and field, and chess club. Martin Luther King was a hero because he was essential to a suffering nation. He had another piece of advice that, when heeded, will make us all essential members of any group. He said "Everyone can be great because everyone can serve. You don't have to have a college degree to serve. You don't have to have your subject and your verb agree. You only need a heart full of grace, a soul generated by love." If you do nothing else, serve others with love and grace, and you will be an essential part of our world. Do we enjoy being who we are? It is an honor to stand before you all to deliver this speech for such a special occasion. To the graduates, today is a very bittersweet moment for us all, as this ceremony marks the transition from High School to college, the military, or the job industry. Let me begin by saying I am extremely proud of the growth we have made as a class from our freshman year until this point. Over the course of our four years in high school, we have matured into young adults ready to take on the world. While each of our paths were different, we've each weathered the storm and I am pleased to say that we've made it! This journey has been filled with so many unforgettable moments, for many of us Monroe High School has been a place to maximize our potential as future leaders, innovators, and thinkers. Firstly, I would like to begin by highlighting a few of our accomplishments as a class academically, in the community and in athletics. To this date we have raised over five million dollars in scholarships, with nine athletic signings, and a host of students going to college with academic scholarships. As a class, we have been devoted to extending service to our communities, whether it be through donating blood at the blood drive, sacrificing Thursday night's at the closet, or simply volunteering to help out the teachers here at Monroe High School. • 20. An Example of a Graduation Speech Ladies and gentlemen, friends and families, teachers and graduates of 2014, good evening, Over 5000 days of wondering – wondering if we would ever make it to this day. Tonight marks the culmination of this long journey– we are the graduating class of 2014. Graduation is one of those awkward times in our lives when we are torn between letting go of our safe haven where we have many a cherished memory and anticipating a new path where the destination is but a speck of hope. Should we look back on what were the greatest twelve years of our lives– times filled with joy from the day we picked out our first schoolbags until the day we emptied our lockers for the last time? Or should we focus on the next stage in this journey called LIFE? We have been impatiently waiting for this day, and now, all we want to do is hit pause, rewind, and play. We want to slow it down and enjoy the last fleeting moments, but we can't stop the clock from ticking– it's time to let go and fly! This long journey that began twelve years ago was a blank book, and we were all eager to fill the pages. We will always look back on the days we spent from preschool to high school– those days long ago, the world seemed so innocent; however, soon enough, we became aware that real life is different, and we began to face some of the many experiences of adulthood. As the years passed, we learned not to allow external circumstances to define us. That's right; our book was being written on our own terms. Every year, ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

These students, along with the entire graduating class of 2005 have put a real effort into making it here today. I want to stress the importance of the diplomas we are receiving today. They are not easy to come by. In fact, 24 percent of the students you started public school with did not make it to graduation, that is one in every four. It was more difficult for some students than others to be here today. They have been faced with obstacles, maybe family problems, substance abuse, health or financial problems, whatever the case may be, they have struggled to survive and graduate with the class of 2005. So as you leave today, and you're like, "We are so outta here" remember to be proud of what you have accomplished. Graduating is not some little deal, it is a big landmark in your lives. We've done it graduates, thinking about this day since september 2016, tonight, we gather together as one graduating class and a community to celebrate a journey, an adventure. Staff, parents, guardians, siblings and friends we are glad you get to experience the graduation of the class of 2017 with us. Each one of us has come so far since our first day in kindergarten no matter what school we went to. As I look around at each and every graduate in this room, my mind is flooded with memories. 10 years ago, when we all started elementary, a lot of us were most likely scared of the grade 8's who were older and more knowledgeable than us. But now, just short years later, here we are, wondering if the little ones are frightened by us. Another year at Orchard park has gone by quick, but this one, being our last. Many memories have created this time In elementary school to be one of a kind, and it is an honour to be speaking on behalf of each and everyone of us. We are a truly unique and fun group of students who have definitely had some good laughs these past few years and will remember them for time to come. From yogurt splatting onto our ceilIngs and certain individuals stuck in elevators to incidents with sand, having competition between the grade 8 classes to make snow forts, the grade 7 camping trip, the Ottawa grad trip, and I haven't forgotten about our historical debates, I believe that it is truly the small details of these past years ... In today's society, and I think among the students as well, there is a growing feeling of distrust with our government and a feeling of "who cares." Well, it is now time to care. We whine and complain about everything our government does, and we do nothing about it, and yet we're still upset because nothing's changed. It's like we're armchair quarterbacks who really expect the football player to actually hear us ranting and raving at the TV. We need to do something, and that is to vote. As Lincoln said, "The ballot is stronger than the bullet." There are also other ways to make a change in this world, however. Some of you may remember the petition I passed around the lunches a few weeks back regarding the block schedule changes. It may have seemed an insignificant, almost frivolous thing, but the point was to be heard; to make a statement – that we can be heard and do have a say. And we were, at least in part, successful. I urge you to do the same. Only now, in the "real world." Write a petition, sign a petition, vote, talk to your legislators; write a letter to the newspaper. There are countless ways. Now that we are in "the real world," and want to be a part of it, what do we do? We have the responsibility to carefully examine it and become aware of it. And we have the technology to easily do so. Graduation Speech : A Speech In the commencement speech entitled "This is Water," the speaker came to highlight to the graduates at the commencement ceremony, what the "real world "was like because he thought they are not alert enough to know. He made reference to this through the anecdote at the beginning where the two young fish didn't know what water was and of course water is life to fishes. Therefore, the speaker found it necessary to tell what life was really about through a commencement speech because of his opinion that they may have limited knowledge concerning it. The speaker made the point about the way of thinking that one will entails when these experiencing has become a day–to–day practice. • 45. Graduation Speech Congratulations everyone, congratulations. If you're participating in this graduation ceremony, you've taken the next step toward your future goals and dreams. For those of you that just finished your transfer degrees, congratulations. To those of you that came back to school after a few years off to get a better education, congratulations. To those of you that came to get a certificate or learn IT or computer programming so you can get a better job, congratulations. Now that you're moving on toward whatever your next step is in life – a university, the job market, whatever – you are more prepared and ready for that next step now. The first being that I remember my high school graduation and I couldn't tell you who spoke or how many speakers there even were; all I remember is the that person in front of me had one of the old Gameboys and was playing Tetris. Everyone was so enthralled with what the speakers were saying that a group of about 30 of my classmates were leaning in and watching him play Tetris. One of the funniest things I ever saw was a picture taken of my graduating class and seeing the right half of the graduates sitting peacefully and left half all leaning in to watch a single person play a black and white video game. Which illustrates my second point perfectly: that you don't really want to listen to me. You want to go out and prove to the rest of the world what everyone here at Bulls already knows: that no matter how many late nights or hours of perseverance it takes for you to achieve your goals, you will achieve them, and nothing can stop you. I could stand up here and rave about Bulls. That the group of people that work there is one of the most diverse and incredible groups of people I have ever had the chance to meet. But I won't because why should I waste your time telling you things you already know? All the time and effort that the professors and administrators have put in over these last few years of your life hasn't been because they just wanted the paycheck so they can buy that dream car they always wanted. • 47. Graduation Speech Essay examples To the County High School Class of 2012: As you sit in front of me, I know what most of you are thinking at the moment. There are those who are already pondering about what life without high school will be like; those who are debating whether or not to tell your crush tonight about your whispers of adoration you've secretly held for four years; some simply want to get out of that ungodly chair, get that thing that isn't really a diploma but only tells you when to pick up the thing, and then be the first one on the green bus to the grad party – you know who you are. Instead, I ask that you give up a few minutes of your lives to sit back, let that gown flow and enjoy the final curtain call of your high school career. Enjoy the sights and sounds of today, right now; and be aware of the mindfulness opening your senses and releasing your inhibitions can summon. Feel the tingle on your eyes; it is trying to tell you something so pay attention to it. Look, do you see it? That's anxiety, a thick and pulsating anxiety that is flowing through the air right now from person to person. It is a stream of consciousness that is multiplied in this medium only because we all have the same questions: Do I have time to go to the bathroom? When will this Asian fool shut up? Who is this guy sitting next to me and why is he so ugly? The anxiety will not die. Capture the anxiety in your mind as a visual aspect of tonight. Remember it. Let the twitch in your ear awake your emotions. Listen carefully. It's the sound of a gloomy day. What is usually a dismal tune is now replaced with the bittersweet melody of our graduation ceremony under the clouds. Ask yourself, when was the last time you realized the song, instead of the sight of a day? Capture the drizzle as an audio aspect of tonight. Remember it. Allow the pads of your fingers to feel ... • 49. Graduation Speech : High School Essay The day I graduated from high school The High school graduation day is a life full of journeys for everyone, high school life is a memorable time for most people, for me as well. High school can be filled with lots of good memories for some people and it could be filled with bad memories, for me it was both I had good times and I had bad times. The High school Graduation day should definitely be the best day of your life because that means no more high school, no more having to wake up at 6 a.m., no more having to hear your parents say "do you have homework" or "you have to go to bed at a certain time", no more seeing people that you don't get along with in high school. Everyone has the choice of being able to move and having your own place, experiencing college or traveling the world by yourself or your best friends and also having the ability to be more independent in yourself. In my case I feel like I accomplish something, making my family and friends proud and looking back at May 2015 , it was the best day of my life graduating from high school. On May 28, 2015 Lisa woke up to the sound of my mother barging into her room saying "its graduation day you finally made it "even though she just woke up she couldn't help but smile and started happy dancing with her mom. Lisa looks in the mirror and said to herself "I accomplished all my four years of high school," she then looks to her mom and saw that she started crying. Lisa also got emotional and they both ... • 51. Graduation Speech Essay Are you ready for the real world? Will I am ready, and I want to help you out. ... I want to pump you up! Tonight marks a turning point in our lives as young adults. This milestone of graduating with a high school education has come at last. And yet, knowledge does not exist solely in scholarly facts, but more so in the relationships and friendships that we have forged along the way. Albert Schweitzer once said, "At times our own light goes out and is rekindled by a spark from another person. Each of us has cause to think with deep gratitude of those who have lighted the flame within us." As I look at the graduating class of 2012 I am reminded of the unique gifts each one of us has to offer the world. We are artists, poets, playwrights, ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Do you remember going to build a float and getting pumped up for homecoming? Some of these memories we will remember and some we will be happy to forget. We have all shared in this journey together, and now we embark on our own, to find out what life has in store for us. Our futures are uncharted and could change each time new frontiers present themselves. Are we ready to take on the challenges and responsibilities that lie ahead? We all know that the future can be unpredictable, even downright scary. So today I thought I would ask my good friend Grover from Sesame Street for some advice. "The Monster at the End of this Book, Starting Lovable, Furry Old Grover," written by Jon Stone: "What did you say? On the first page, what did that say? Did that say there will be a monster at the end of this book?? It did? Oh I am so scared of monsters!!! Shhh, listen, I have an idea. If you do not turn any pages, we will never get to the end of this book. And that is good, because there is a monster at the end of this book. So please do not turn the page. You turned the page!!! Maybe you do not understand. You see, turning pages will bring us to the end of this book, and there is a Monster at the end of this book . . . but this will stop you from turning pages. See? I am tying the pages together so you cannot. You turned another page!!! You do not know what you are doing to me! Now . . . stop turning pages!!! There! I, Grover, am nailing this page to the ... The 13 years that I have spent attending school have quickly passed through my life as if a dream, much as I imagine it did Edgar Allan Poe. I can still remember my first day of school in Vietnam when I was five years old. Timid and scared, I held my mother's hand tightly, frightened that if I let go, I would lose her forever. My mother looked at me and said gently in Vietnamese: "Su hoc nhu thuyen tren dong nuoc nguoc. As I struggled all night writing my speech, a host of emotions welled up in me as I reflected on the experiences and memories gained during my time at Harding Community College. The experiences may have been unanticipated, but they are just as important as the knowledge acquired at this institution. The more I reflected, the more I came to appreciate the invaluable education that has been gained by all of us. This education has given us the basis for a mesmerizing and rich intellectual life. It has trained all of us to become critical thinkers and compassionate human beings. It has given us the opportunity for our minds to be invigorated by academic diversity and has allowed us to become part of this community as this community has become a part of us. This valuable education has inspired us and given us the power to realize our dreams by helping us to recognize and take advantage of opportunities. Most of us, though, and I regret that I am in this group, will sit through many more ceremonies –– ceremonies longer and more tedious that this or anything else you can imagine. If you think this is bad, try a college graduation. Think, that is, attend a wedding. And, if just for a moment you think that that is bad, just be thankful you have never attended or will attend a Bar Mitzvah. My book was Emily Bronte's "Wuthering Heights," my page was page 10, chapter two. My quote, and as of now, theme for my speech, is: "My neighbor struck me as bordering on repulsive, I knew, through experience, that I was tolerably attractive." Wow! I think that, that is one great theme. It works. (Pull out pocket mirror) I am tolerably attractive. As for my neighbor. Well, you be the judge. Really, what are the chances of two attractive people sitting next to each other. Not likely. Why not try it yourselves. Visualize yourself, or if you have access to a mirror, look at yourself. Alluring huh? I bet you have to admit, you're tolerably attractive. Who are you kidding? You are foxy. You are a fox. If you were a Quentin Tarantino movie, you would be Foxy Brown. Now tear yourself away from your own adorable self and turn to your right. See that person. Pretty appalling. If it's a man, he's not very handsome is he? If it's a woman, not very pretty is she? • 57. Graduation Speech : A Speech Of A Speech For Students Congratulations to my fellow graduates and their parents and guardians. The only way out is through and we did it. I am proudly standing here as valedictorian of the first graduating class here at Humanities III. Before I begin, I would like to offer specials thanks to the staff and faculty who have journeyed along with us and kept our heads on straight, especially those who have stuck by us for these past four years. Picture the first day of summer bridge or your first day of high school, approximately five thousand seven hundred sixty hours later, we're here ready to accept our diplomas, be done with high school, and finish this long and tumultuous chapter of our lives. Most of us started this journey four years ago with a handful of staff members and no idea what high school would be like. I had expectations of dusty textbooks, wrinkled teachers, and a lot more than what we got. I expected to be an average student who did nothing remarkable because that was the kind of student I was. From the beginning we knew of the changes that would occur but, that never made them easier to deal with. Resiliency has been what the last four years has been defined as. Being the inaugural class, has forced us to grow in ways we never expected but, we created traditions and made lasting legacies. We may not have had all the things we wanted, but rest assure we always ate swell. I truly believe I have eaten Domino's here more than I will eat it in the remainder of my life. Despite all the ... This is often where we learn the most basic of principles. This is what I learned: Share everything. Play fair. Don't hit people. Put things back where you found them. Don't take things that are not yours. Say you're sorry when you hurt somebody. Wash your hands before you eat. Don't forget to flush. Warm cookies and cold milk are good for you. Classmates Tammy Kheradmand, Dwight Franklin and Scott Napier supported me when I was challenged. My Uncle Lee helped me through accounting. Professor Jim Callan and Dr. Steve Altabef provided me with inspiration. My parents encouraged me. I am fortunate to have many family members and friends here today who helped me in some way. So you see, I did not get to this place on my own. It was the combined effort of many. Universal provided a program that would work for me. I am very grateful for this opportunity. I am grateful that we live in a country where everyone who chooses to go to school can, no matter what their age. When I think of the graduation of the future, I think of my children and what a wonderful day it will be when I watch them graduate from college. Without saying a word, Socrates led the boy down to the edge of the sea and walked in, beckoning him to follow. When they were standing waist deep in the water, Socrates pushed the boy down, completely submerging his head. He held him thus for a couple of minutes, until the boy was almost to the point of death, before letting him up. Sputtering and angry, the boy demanded to know why Socrates had held him underwater for so long. In response, Socrates asked, "when you were under the water, what did you want more than anything in the world?" After a moment's reflection, the boy answered, "I wanted to breathe." Although we will soon be receiving a high school diploma and may have passed some of the more challenging classes in high school, there is still a tremendous amount of information and wisdom in this world we have to acquire. However, this lack of knowledge is not something that should set us back. We should instead see it as a great opportunity. I know I don't know everything, and I think that is the best thing to know: the fact that there will always be more to learn and discover. We have access to a great wealth of information. Through the Internet we can find just the information we are looking for within a matter of minutes. Just a couple of decades ago, that same task may have taken days or weeks. We have access to so much, but with that comes a responsibility. We have the responsibility to decide what we are going to learn and how we are going to spend the time we have to learn. As valedictorian of this class I would like to speak to you, and my fellow graduates about responsibility, but first I would like to tell you a little story D.L. Moody told the story of a passenger on an Atlantic steamer who lay in his bunk during a raging storm with a severe case of sea sickness. Suddenly he heard the cry, "Man overboard." "May God help that poor fellow," he prayed, "but there's nothing I can do." Then he thought, "I can at least put my lantern in my small window," and with an effort he did so. Another excuse might be, "I am not as talented as others, so why should I be responsible for being a witness?" I find this excuse to be the most objectionable. Those who say this deny that special talent that God has given them. When people say, "I am not as talented as others, so I cannot be a witness," they deny that very, very special talent that God in His infinite wisdom has seen fit to give them! I would like to share with you the parable of the talents. Now I am sure you have all heard this before, so I will make my comments on the passage brief. Jesus told of a master with three servants: to one he gave 5 talents, to another he gave 2 talents, and to the last he gave 1 talent. The master then left for a long journey. Each servant did as he chose with the money. The first and second servants did as they were told and wisely put their talents to work, but the third servant just hid his talent. When the master came back, he came to his servants and asked them what they had done with the talents he had given them. • 69. Speech : A Speech For A Graduation Speech Principle Bedette, fellow teachers, parents, friends and family, and most especially you – the graduating class of 2017. A few of you might read the news from time to time. It's a tough business speaking at graduation. When the Vice President spoke this year at Notre Dame University, students walked out on him. A couple weeks ago in California, students protested the Dalai Lama when he came to speak. These are famous people. The students here at Newfane Senior High decided to play it safe and invite somebody with a lower profile. Here I am. Where are the protest signs? It is considered an honor to give a graduation speech. But I can assure you, there is no greater honor than to teach you. I am sure that if you ask any of my colleagues, they will say the same thing. Parents, you should be proud. This graduating class is filled with good people. 150 smart people who will make America strong. 150 good people who will make humanity better. 150 brave people who will make you proud. At a graduation, the speaker usually says things like, "This is the first day of the rest of your life." Things like, "The world is yours to conquer." Things like, "Go out and take chances." Things like, "Look at every obstacle as an opportunity." These are all such corny lines. I'm sure you don't want to hear me repeat them here today. Well, too bad! I just did.

After today, our lives will be changed forever. Before that happens, let's take a look at the last four years of memories and even go back to those memories from our elementary and middle school years and collect them into a book; our own book, our book of life. Chapters filled with the friendships we've made, the sports teams we've played on, and the school's activities we've been a part of, ones such as drama, band, Homecoming, Winter Ball, Tolo, and most recently prom. Even just looking back a couple of years ago, who could forget the excitement of driving for the first time without Mom or Dad? Some of us also have the memories from work, difficult family struggles and pressure to get the last few credits. These experiences have made our books exciting. In fact, what we have written makes us proud to be up here today. My chapters are filled with the memories of friends, good times, laughter and late nights doing work. Now after tonight, this graduation ceremony and the grad night party will be added to my book. Embrace it. Laugh at it a bit. Whatever you do, don't take it too seriously. Those are some of the ways I have made it through these past four years at McNeil. You see, the biggest contradiction I have noticed so far is the stress that is put on the big things in life when it is really all the little things scattered in between when I find I'm most happy. It's those seemingly insignificant, random pieces of time that have kept me going throughout the crazies thrown at us as and they keep me laughing, smiling, and moving on. Whether it's playing Halo and focusing on getting that next running riot, chatting and profile–snooping on AIM, or hearing a pointless story told from a friend––it's those little moments of carefree smiling that I feel get overlooked. With AP classes, national honor this, mu alpha that, drum practice here, yearbook deadline there, flag twirling up, singing voices coming down, and bells ring ringing all in between, it's no wonder we students have been rushing through the motions of our ritualistic high school lives. Something that I'll think about if I'm ever down. Something that makes me realize that I can do it, and I will, because my success is up to me, and only me. Over the years I have learned such an immense amount that it's hard to even begin. My time here left me with so much more experience and skill that if you were to tell me eight years ago how amazing and supportive everyone is to help you succeed, I wouldn't believe you. Everyone staff member, every student, everyone wants you to do your best. We are a community of supporters, and that's the best kind of community. Together everyone has grown and grown and there is still much more to come, but I'm sure everyone one of us graduating class of 2017 will be ready for it. Firstly, I was taught to believe in myself, and to take opportunities. To know to give it a try because even if you're wrong, you took your opportunity. I was taught that every opened door is a door to walk through, because once in a lifetime opportunities happen, and we can't just let them go simply out of fear. I can remember even at my start t Peirce, in first grade I would raise my hand because I Felt accepted, I wasn't scared, because I was immediately welcomed into such a warm community of people. I never thought I'd be where I am today, going to one of the best high schools in the state, or even nation, and it is thanks to Pierce. Even small opportunities were meant to be taken because every chance ins one in the right direction. Meaning extra credit, or placement test for his dhool, it all adds up, it's culmintive. Peirce gave the motivation and the eyes to seek out any opportunity going forward into high school. As for academic skills, oh, don't even get me started. I have learned so much each and every year that I'm personally amazed. From not being able to spell my name, to analyzing, finding deeper meanings and themes within such rich literature pieces. From not knowing how to properly perform addition to being able to solve quadratics in no time. From being confused on how to simply work a computer to being able to write code for ... • 80. Graduation Speech : High School Throughout life people go through so many adversities. Whether it be good or bad there is always something that arises out of the situation. One of the most thrilling, but yet frightening events to take place throughout someone's life would be graduation. For many people, graduating from high school is an objective. It takes a lot of time, effort, and determination to accomplish that goal. For others graduation is the end of high school, and the beginning of a new chapter in life. When graduated people feel as if adulthood has begun. In the long run, graduating opens a lot of opportunities for people to thrive. I can almost reminisce the day as if it was yesterday. I was sitting in bed like any other school day. It seemed to me that this would be a great day. Although I was tired because I hadn't been to school in almost a month, except to practice a walk through for graduation, I slowly pulled my lifeless body out of my warm bed. I then began to go to the bathroom where I would shower, shave, brush my teeth, get dressed, and do my hair. I began to look at myself in the mirror and thought to myself how important today would be for me and my family. After I was all dressed and ready for the big day, I made my way downstairs to eat breakfast. The smell of pancakes, bacon, and eggs filled the air with an appealing fragrance. I knew this would be a day to remember. My family then walked in the kitchen to join my mother and I. they asked me if I was excited about the day ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
