Essay For Mba Admission
I came to the United States last year and it has been an extremely rewarding experience. I have
truly enjoyed working and living in a multicultural environment. In my professional life, I have
taken on greater challenges and led a team in the expansion of a new business. I also joined the
Toastmasters where I honed my English communication skills and made new friends. My greatest
delight is that I found my life's passion.
This began when I took a journey to my hometown last November where I encountered my
strongest school competitor after 12 years. She, unfortunately, had dropped out at 15 to get married
and had a daughter with a heart condition, which subjected her to domestic violence and economic
pressure. I empathized with her because of my personal experiences. My father was abusive and
forced me to quit school at 14. However, my determination got me admitted into a senior high school
in Shanghai. This was the beginning of a phenomenal journey. Currently, I work at a Global 500
Company and are testimony that girls can make a difference. I am also the pride of the family
notwithstanding the perception in my hometown that girls are inferior to boys.
Consequently, I purposed to help women who are deprived of a basic education and the resources
to make a better life. A local...show more content...

Furthermore, being at the center of NYC enables me to interact with investors and potential partners
concerning the growth of the business. I look forward to a defining and fulfilling time at

Dr. Stern Essay
In the initial portion of the film, Dr. Stern was not overly appreciated by his patients, because his
perception of himself got in the way of how others perceived him. Right at the beginning, the movie
addresses that Dr. Stern has five pairs of leather shoes, organized red ties and white dress shirts, and
reads the psychologist magazine with his morning coffee, which shows his personal perspective – a
successful psychologist. So to prevent potentially losing patients, he listens, but does not speak on
how to treat them. This is shown when the final patient shown questions his inability to help, and the
length of the treatment, in which Dr. Stern states it'll work "in due time." Additionally, Dr. Stern
tends to be very generic with his treatment: he repeats what his patient says, and even asks the same
questions to all of his patients, shown by the use of...show more content...
Stern only has six more weeks to live, which leads him to being more honest with his patients, even
if it makes their views more negative towards himself. The feeling of inevitability makes Dr. Stern
have a more uncaring attitude towards his actions, leading to saying more brutal – but truthful,
comments. Many patients smash his windows, and run out of the building in an initial surge of
anger, not initially realizing how important these comments are. But as the movie continues, the film
transitions to his patients accepting this new treatment from Dr. Stern, because it's changing them
for the better. This is shown when the gardener is waiting outside for a window to break, yet
surprisingly nothing occurs. Besides that, when this section of the film starts coming to a close, the
filming style slightly changes. You see Dr. Stern sitting together, in the same shot with his patient, as
he assists them to overcome their fears. This shows that Dr. Stern has partially dropped how he
wants everyone to perceive him, and is finally forming a bond with his

NYU Stern Application Report
My experience at NYU Stern has been nothing short of transformative. Coming to New York, I
had no idea what my future would look like or even what academic and career paths I wanted to
pursue. I entered New York University as a student in the College of Arts and Sciences, where I
took courses in economics and politics. After my first semester freshman year, I was awarded a
$40,000 University Future Funds scholarship for my academic performance. Midway through my
second semester of that same year, following internships and networking opportunities, I was drawn
to business and finance. I applied and was accepted to Stern as a transfer student. However, in doing
so, I was forced to give up the remainder of my donor–specific scholarship.
I do not regret my decision to transfer to Stern. In my time at Stern, I have taken advantage of
myriad opportunities provided to me by the college. These include holding a leadership position as
the Treasurer and Director of Corporate Relations for Stern Pride Corp, Stern's LGBT business
alliance, attending networking events with some of nation's top firms, and studying for a semester in
Prague. I have broadened my network and gained a greater understanding of the many components of
the global business ecosystem. These experiences have proven invaluable...show more content...
Despite this, I have managed to succeed in all my classes at NYU, recently receiving an invitation
to join Stern's chapter of Beta Gamma Sigma, as a member of the top 10% of my class. I am
confident that my hard–work and focus will pay off. This scholarship will tremendously benefit me
and my family ensuring I am able to continue my studies at NYU and minimizing the debt I will take
on in exchange for this amazing, first–in–class educational

Mba Research Sample
An analysis of the data will determine if undergraduate success predicts graduate success. Several
studies of students enrolled in the MBA program at Whatsamattu U conducted throughout this course
and include numerous variables. Likewise, the data utilized for this study include a sample size of
200 students attending Whatsamatta University. Ideally, the resolution is to conclude if a correlation
exists between the students. In other words, a correlation exists as a constant relationship between
two or more variables (Mirabella, 2011). The goal is to identify the correlation and display if the data
that increases or decreases.
Another purpose of such is to define the statistical measure of each variable by direction, size, and
relevance...show more content...
In detail, the regression statistics show a sample size of 200 students attending the University. The
correlation coefficient (r) expresses 0.925 with a coefficient of determination (r–squared) of 86%.
Furthermore, the standard error of the estimate identified stands at 0.118. Afterwards, the regression
equation shows a slope of 0.987 with an intercept of –0.051. In other words, the MBA GPA equals
–0.57 plus 0.987, which is the BS GPA. Subsequently, the predicting regression equation section
displays an X value of 4 and a confidence level of 95 percent. In addition, the predicted Y value
stands at 3.890 with a confidence interval of 3.890 and the prediction interval also at 3.890. Clearly,
the next section termed as the hypothesis test for correlation shows the null hypothesis slope equals
to zero. Next, the level of significance utilized, as mentioned above, stands at 0.05. However, the
t–statistic (computed) show figures to be 34.1890.
Additionally, the data in the hypothesis test for correlation section has a p–value of 0.000. In other
words, the decision is to reject the null hypothesis, but with a conclusion that some correlation exists
between the variables. In brief, the ANOVA section displays figure for SS, df, Ms, F, and F crit. The
regression SS figure computed are 16.1864 for SS, 1 for df, 16.1864 for MS, 1168.8879 for F and
3.8889 for F crit. The error SS stands at 2.7418, 198 for df and 0.0138 for MS. Finally,
