Ratwinit Bangkaeo School is located in Samut Prakan province, Thailand and was established over 40 years ago to provide secondary and high school education. The school sits on 43 rais (17 acres) and has around 4,000 students and 200 administrators. It has several buildings, sports facilities, and was established and named by King Bhumibol Adulyadej to develop students into good citizens of Thailand and ASEAN.

1. Ratwinit Bangkaeo School
Ratwinit Bangkaeo School is located on Bang Na-Trat Road, km. 7.7, in Samut Prakan province. The school has been established over 40 years to provide secondary and high school education. At present, Ratwinit Bangkaeo School has the area of approximately 43 rais or 17 acres. Thus, it has a large area that is enough for about 4,000 students and 200 administrators. Inside Ratwinit Bangkaeo School, it has six buildings, two canteens, a library, a standard football field, a sport complex, two meeting rooms and a medical room.

2. The name “Ratwinit Bangkaeo” was received from His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej, who had the royal kindness to establish Ratwinit Bangkaeo School under his patronage. The word "Ratwinit" means a place where boys and girls are instructed to be good citizens.
Ratwinit School previously provided only elementary education. His Majesty the King thought to expand the school to instruct secondary education. However, the school had a limited area.
In 1970, Mr.Sukhum and Ms.Chanfong Thirawat presented a 30-rai land located in Muang Kaeo village, on the Bang Na-Trat road to His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyade for building a school and supporting the education development of Thailand.
His Majesty the King, then, conferred the land to the Ministry of Education for establishing “Ratwinit Bangkaeo” high school. Ratwinit Bangkaeo started teaching in 1972.
Everybody appreciates the royal grace because they receive the royal kindness, which is the best pride to their life.

Ratwinit Bangkaeo is a school which esteems the nation, the religion and the king. It aims at developing students’ abilities to be good ASEAN citizens and the world citizens, and to achieve international educational standards.

Ratwinit Bangkaeo School has a mission to provide fundamental education to students, making students be aware of Thai identity, and esteem the nation, the religion and the king. Moreover, another responsibility is developing to be expert in academic matter, music, athletic abilities, and ICT.

5.  Ratwinit Bangkaeo’s students show the respect to the teachers on the Wai Khru ceremony every year. The students will recognize the teachers’ kindness and will deference their
teachers.

birthday at Suan Luang Ror Kao.
 Ratwinit Bangkaeo’s students enter the sport day and learn to have a sportsman spirit. The
activity can teach the students to recognize the harmony.

6.  On 28 March 2014, Ratwinit Bangkaeo’s thai music band won the champion in the students’ music contest and received prize money from Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn at Burapha University.

 On 28 October 2014, Ratwinit Bangkaeo wind symphony band won the champion in symphony
band contest.
