MY BEST TEACHER
The best teacher that I have had was my teacher of valencian language of the
first course of secondary School. He was young and we were their first pupils
and he began his first class telling us that there was something more important
than the valencian language that he wanted we learn in class: respect.
He told us that in class we were going to learn grammar and rules of the
Valencian Language, but above all we were going to learn to speak because
their classes would be very practical.
He told us that he imagined that there would be shy people in the class who
would not like the idea of speaking in front of his classmates, but that he
guaranteed that nobody would mock of anyone in his class because respect
was going to be evaluated and if someone made fun of a classmate would
suspend even though had a ten on the exam.
I think it was the best teacher I've ever had because with him finished teasing
that some mates had suffered for several years and it was something that no
other teacher had achieved.
