Project Title: Strategy Masterplan
Client: Coffs Harbour City Council (CHCC)
Project Description
ISFM was appointed by the CHCC in September 2010 to
undertake the development of a strategy masterplan for the
BCU International Stadium, and broader Coffs Coast Sports
and Leisure Park (CCSLP) precinct.
With the acquisition of Government funding to assist in the
BCU International Stadium—Aerial View upgrading of the BCU International Stadium’s lighting levels to
digital television standards (1,500 Lux), the CHCC expressed
their commitment to assessing the current state of the stadi-
um facilities, and moreover business operations, with a view
to there significant improvement. As such the following areas
of opportunity underpinned the scope of works:
− Developing additional business units, activi-
ties and opportunities which support the
Stadium’s existing business, and at the
same time increase revenues and net
returns
− Increasing use of existing Stadium facilities
and general infrastructure
− Improving the efficiency of operations, in
both event and non-event mode
− Maximising business opportunities through
closer community and corporate relation-
ships and partnerships
The final report submitted to Council outlined that the ultimate
success of the Park and the Stadium will be dependent on the
