Client: Sydney Swans
Project Description
The Sydney Swans appointed ISFM to develop a state-of
-the-art facility which would accommodate their football
division, and at the same time provide leading edge
technology in areas of player training, rehabilitation and
education.
To achieve the Swans’ vision, ISFM undertook an exten-
sive market research program into both domestic and
international sporting facilities with a focus on rehabilita-
tion technology and techniques. The research work cul-
minated in the planning of a new Centre of Excellence
regarded as having established new standards for sport
within Australia.
The centre provides for a range of facilities including:
− Theatrette and strategy areas
− Gymnasium
− Rehabilitation and treatment area
− Player lounge
− Conference, library and education
