International Equestrian Centre Case Study Feasibility Analysis
1. INTERNATIONAL EQUESTRIAN
CENTRE CASE STUDY
Project Title: Feasibility and Business Analysis
Client: Olympic Coordinating Authority
Sydney International Equestrian Centre
Project Description
Following the completion of the Sydney 2000 Olympic
Games, ISFM was appointed by the Olympic Coordinating
Authority to undertake a detailed analysis of the Interna-
tional Equestrian Centre to determine its long-term finan-
cial viability.
The report concluded that it was essential for the centre to
be restructured operationally and a new business strategy
developed which would maximise utilisation, and as a
consequence deliver an operationally viable centre.
ISFM was in turn requested to work together with the inter-
national Equestrian Centre and the State Government to
develop a strategic business plan which would address the
long-term viability of the centre.
On completion ISFM worked together with the centres
management to implement the plan.
