18. I took all of my photos in this way to try and get across the conventions of the genre very
clearly. I decided to take the photos in the dark to try and create more effect and make the
colours of some of the shots more clear and stand out more. I decided to dress my actors in
these outfits as they are branded clothes which is stereotypical of a hip hop artist to show off
their wealth. I have also decided to include an expensive car to again show off the artists
wealth. I chose the location of on a driveway with a car as that is a stereotypical album cover
or thing to do in a hip hop music video, therefore fans can recognise the genre when they see
the front cover.
