Why I chose them? – I chose to use Brad as my protagonist character as he has great
charisma and therefore is used to being an upbeat character. I have seen him act in previous
films and I thought his facial expressions were very good and I feel in this film this will be
important to have an actor that can do this due to the drama throughout. I also feel due to
his height and build he will look older and therefore will fit the role well as he is playing a 21
year olds part. This character is going to wear clothes of a bright colour to emphasise his
personality and this will be a complete contrast to Jason. Billy is going to be a very likeable
character due to being so innocent and the audience will feel sorry for him at the end of the
film when he is cheated on.
Jess (Emily)
Age: 19

2. Why I chose them? – I have decided to use Emily to be the female in my filmas I feel that
she looks like an everyday young woman who can be relatable to the audience and
therefore they gain personal identity from this. This will be the audience in her characters’
shoes and make them feel as though what she is going through could happen to them or
someone close to them. Her character will be an upbeat and bubbly person, however
someone that is seen as slightly two-faced, due to the plot of her cheating, making the
audience towards the end of the filmdislike her. She is going to be wearing very plain
clothes and colours to match her personality in the film. I know this person very well and
feel that they will be very good at fitting this role in the film as they have previous acting
experience. I will be using Emily as an almost ‘piggy in the middle’ type role with both Billy
and Jason wanting Jess in the plot.
Jason (Chris)
Age: 18
Clothing Size: Large
Shoe size: 11
Height: 6”2
Why I chose them? – Chris is the final actor that I will be using in my filmand he will be
playing the role of Jason who is the antagonist in the film. I have decided to use him because
I feel he fits the role of a ‘villain’ type character very well. This is due to his height as he
much taller than any of the other characters which shows dominance over them. This is
shown later in the plot where he eventually gets his own way with taking Jess away,
showing his dominance over the other two characters, especially Billy. I have also chosen to
use him as he is very good at acting the bad guy and will therefore fit the role perfectly.
3. Jason’s character is reflected by the clothed he wears which is why I will be making Chris
wear all black to show his dark personality and lack of emotions.
