2. Costumes
As I am doing a teenage themed film with
‘popular’ girls in I am going to use very
expensive looking clothes in very bright colours,
this is too enhance the fact they have higher
status than the girl whom they are ‘bulling’
These are they types
of clothes that is
used inn the ‘teen’
films as it makes the
actors stand out from
the rest.
For the 4 different characters I am
going to use this type of style.
However it will only be the top of the
body which is being filmed so only the
t-shirt that will be shown.
For Molly the ‘victim’ I am going to use
very plain, boring and dull colours as
this reflect her life and status as its not
anything special.
3. Actors
1. Georgia Stickley
I have chosen Georgia Stickley for one of the 5 ‘mean girls’, this is
because I feel that she fits the look, furthermore she is also doing AS
drama and is a very experienced actor and over her time has been in
many different plays and other people Media films. I have chosen her to
play Callie as she will be the first cut and the words she says is very
important, I feel that Georgia's innocent but devious look will connect
very well with the audience as they may feel sorry for her as it seems she
is influenced by others. The costume that she will wear will suit her very
well, and will hopefully give off the impression that she is a popular girl
but using her status in the wrong way.
4. Actors
2. Zoë mayall
I am using Zoë mayall as my second ‘mean girl’ – Cyndi I have chosen
Zoë because I feel that she will be a very serious actress and can really
get into character. I feel that when in the costume (t-shirt) that is very
bright and stands out will suit the role she is going to play. Although the
characters dialect is malicious and horrible towards the victim, I think
that Zoë's as Cyndi (character) will be able to relate the most with the
audience as she is very shy and quite and has been influenced by her
school status and friends to act like this. She makes it realistic, this is
why I think Zoë would be great for this part.

3. Rosie pattern
I have chosen Rosie pattern to be my third ‘mean girl’ character Rachel,
due to the fact that she is very outgoing and energetic with a very god
sense of humour. I feel that Rosie will be the best to play this part as even
though the characters dialect is talking about the victim is a mean way she
seems to bring a cheeky smile and tries to convince the audience that what
she is saying is right. By smizing at the audience she befriends them in a
way and gets then on her ‘side’. Rosie is also a very good and experienced
actress whom is very confident in front of a camera and other people, this I
great as it allows me to get the shots that I need.
6. Actors
4. Jemima beale
I have chosen Jemima to be my fourth and final ‘mean girl’ Chloe this is
because Jemima is a very dominant person and a natural leader. The
character of Chloe would suit Jemima very well as she the character is
the main ‘leader of the group’ she decides who they bully and when.
Having Jemima as the lead character for this film will make it very
realistic situation for the audience to relate to. This is because there is
always the leader of a group in school. I have also chosen Jemima as an
actress because she I very experienced in this field and is not shy in
front of people or the camera.
7. Actors
5. Eleanor Penfold
I have chosen Eleanor for the final cut in the interview scene, she will
play the ‘victim’- Molly. This is because she is innocent and querky. I
think Eleanor will be great for this role because the character is shy and
kind and no one would expect any anger from her. However her
innocence tricks the audience Mollies frustration and anger from being
bullied has built up over the time until she explodes (this will be shown
with a voice over on the meat chop). I feel that Eleanor will be very
realistic as this character, also she has a good acting background so I
am very confident she will be good for this.
8. Props
I am not using many props in my film but the ones I am
are very significant to the theme of the film, these
include:
Butcher meat cutting knife-
Meat form butchers- 8
Fake blood-
Chopping board-
9. Equipment
700d Camera: I am using this camera as it has many different benefits
these include:
• Smooth focus
• Touch screen for easy use
• Brightening the picture and focus on the person
while blurring the back ground this is really good, for
me because this is good as my main interview cuts
are all about the persons face and their expression
• It is very easy to use – this is really easy for me to use
as I am not the best with confusing technology this
means its allows me to get the best out of filming
with the camera
10. Equipment
I will be using a tripod because
in my interview scenes to make
them look professional, it will
need to be completely static,
by having it on the tripod it
also allows for maximal
movement while static and not
shaky.
I am going to use a mic adapter
when filming the interview
scenes this is be really
beneficial because It will allow
to optimum sound as this is the
main aspect of the interview
the dialect.
SD card- I will need this to store
my material on for the film.
I am
going to
use
Premier
Pro to
edit my
footage.
