1. Photoshoot Plan
Model:
 Brooke Martin

 17 Years old
I chose my friend, Brooke, to be my model for the magazine. I
chose her because she has already had modelling experience
therefore I know I would be able to work with her well. I also think
she can look the part of an indie-pop singer due to her confident
attitude.
I will be changing her name to Daisy May due to the
characteristics of the magazine.
Location:
Indoors - This is because I want to use studio lighting as I know I will be using Photoshop.
Studio lighting will make it easier for me to manipulate the image.
I will be setting up my own studio within college using a backdrop (specifically pink) to go
with the colour scheme of my magazine. I know that my backdrop would not be wide
enough to fill a double page spread so I am taking into consideration that I will be using
Photoshop a lot after taking my photos.
Hair & Makeup:
I want to have a retro style for my magazine however I want it to have a
modern twist (to go with the young audience). For the hair and makeup I want
it to resemble an 80s style therefore I want almost crimped hair- to do this I will
put her hair in plats; heat them up on a flat iron them releasing into waves.
Makeup wise I want either dark Smokey eyes or match the colour scheme with
pink and blues (in a Smokey eye effect) and then just subtle pink lips
This kind of style
however not as big.
