2. Uses of passive
● Its use is more frequently and formal in english
● It can't be formed with transitive verbs
● Its function is remark the action and not the person who
has it done.

3. How it's made the passive verb?
ACTIVE VOICE PASSIVE VOICE
Present Simple WRITES IS WRITTEN
Past Simple WROTE WAS WRITTEN
Present Perfect HAS WRITTEN HAS BEEN WRITTEN
Past Perfect Simple HAD WRITTEN HAD BEEN WRITTEN
Future with “will” WILL WRITE WILL BE WRITTEN
“Going to” future IS GOING TO WRITE IS GOING TO BE WRITTEN
Modal verb “can” CAN WRITE CAN BE WRITTEN

4. From active to passive
● It uses an auxiliary verb “to be”
● The active voice's object turns to the passive voice's
subject.
● The passive's subject turns into the “adgent complement”
● The action it's made “by” this “adgent”
● It keeps the main verb in “past participle”

The speech is written
2- Thieves stole the car
The car was stolen
3- She has cooked a delicious cake
A delicious cake has been cooked
4- I had eaten an apple
An apple had been eaten by me
5- They will clean the room
The room will be cleaned
