This document describes an IoT-enabled underground drainage monitoring system using water flow sensors. The system monitors water flow in underground drainage pipes to detect blockages or leaks. It uses an Arduino, water flow sensors, and a GSM module. Water flow sensors attached to the drainage pipes measure the water flow rate. The Arduino collects these measurements and sends them via GSM to authorities. This allows authorities to quickly identify locations with drainage issues so they can address blockages or leaks. The system aims to automatically and remotely monitor underground drainage infrastructure in order to improve maintenance and prevent flooding or accumulation of hazardous gases.
