This document summarizes a study on the corrosion behavior of ceramic-coated and uncoated aluminum alloys Al 6061, Al 6068, and Al 7075 in 3.5% NaCl solution. Vickers hardness tests and immersion corrosion tests were performed on the uncoated and coated alloy samples. The results showed that the coated alloys exhibited lower hardness values and less weight loss compared to the uncoated alloys after 168 hours of corrosion testing, indicating the ceramic coating provided better corrosion resistance for the aluminum alloys in NaCl solution.
