The most fundamental principle of any progressive
civilization is a law-abiding civilised society. A
society in which all individuals are aware of their
own rights and each citizen is aware of the laws that must
be followed. A legally unified approach is required to
realise our singular vision for civilizational reality and
sustainable future progress.
In contrast, a large portion of the population is completely
unaware of their basic rights and the precise law of the land
to which they must adhere. An unorganised, disconnected,
scattered, and divided society is an impediment to its own
progress.
Recognizing this prevalent scenario, Dr Nilakshi
Choudhury, Founder and Managing Director of Fourth
Dimension Global as well as AmritBidya Ventures LLP –
two sister concerns; with her team & associates have been
leading the noble initiative of 24x7nyaya, through which
these fragmented civilizational silos could be brought and
bound together to create a united whole.
Stating her objective, “Through 24x7 Nyaya, we intend to

The Legal Catalyst
Nilakshi is a professional with 24 years of work experience.
She is a practising attorney at the Supreme Court of India, a
qualified company secretary, and has done her Master’s in
Business Administration in Finance and International
Business. She has been awarded a Doctorate from the
National American University in Corporate Governance.
She specializes in Corporate Law and family law. She is
also a member of the International Council of Jurist London
and a Member of the American Bar Association.
Revealing her inspiration behind venturing into the legal
profession, Nilakshi says, “Law is something which is
required in every step of our life. I have seen many people
suffering as they are naïve. Hence, we aim to serve the
needy and help them with the best possible solution. Also,
my great-grandfather was the first barrister from Assam.
Though I am not following his legacy, as my father was into
business, maybe that ran through our blood and made me
choose this career.”
Before her independent practice, she was an in-house
counsel. “I began my career 24 years back as a financial
analyst for a US-based MNC and was gradually promoted
to branch head within one year for achieving my targets,”
she reveals. The company used to provide a platform for
online trading in currencies bullions and commodities in
Dow Jones, Nasdaq, and Chicago Mercantile Exchange.
After that, she made a career move to the legal profession
by joining Fox Mandal associates as a Law Associate.
Later, she worked in firms like Vaish Associates Advocates
and then joined as a Compliance Manager for Chevron oil
corporation and Company Secretary for Caltex Gas India
Pvt Ltd. Lastly, she worked as legal head for SAARC for a
Spanish MNC, Abengoa, which was into railway electrifica-
tion, transmission lines, solar, and telecom with 125000
employees globally.

According to Miss Mona Chadda, “Life itself has no
meaning. Life is an opportunity to create meaning. Meaning
is not to be discovered. It has to be created. So here I
choose to work with kids with diverse learning needs when
I made a connection with a student with severe autism while
working with different people during college. I have
enjoyed working with all the differently-abled children.
Although it took a while and took many trials, I was finally
able to find a way to communicate with them, and this
feeling is really amazing.”
Miss Mona is a psychiatrist, German translator, interpreter,
image consultant, life coach, career counsellor, and the
Founder and Director of My school. Besides being a
German translator/interpreter and a psychiatrist by profes-
sion, she is a double Ph.D. holder and Worked for 30 years
in both these fields simultaneously. She is the author of two
books- The Implicit Connection; and The not so different
phases. “So, the thought of settling and school was the best
thing that could keep up my spirit. I believe learning never
ends and there is no age to stop studying. I keep equipping
myself by doing many courses which help me to help my
profession better,” she says.

they were more effective leaders because essentially, they

ope never dies. If you could hold by its threads,
Hthen you will come out of the worst nightmarish
darkness of your lifetime. Accepted, life is a way
woven with the strings of breaths into the cords of time
unravelling like thoughts with each passing moment. The
strangeness of the sensation is breathtaking if we look
inwards and then try to extrapolate our consciousness into
the outwardly experience.
On this stranger than fiction path, there comes a wrong turn,
where the mind goes into an overdrive of thinking
negatively. And as negativity begets negativity, flowing into
this river of darker streams, the mind reaches the shores of a
realm that is darkest, depressing, gloomy, full of despair,
melancholy, dejected, and every pessimistic emotion one
could ever think of. There, the sun of a new day does not
rise to bring any light of novel hope or any fresh wind of
optimism.
It is called the land of Acute Depression, where once
dwelled Anandmai, diagnosed as such by her doctors. The
time was 2013. Her doctor prescribed medicines and some
counselling sessions for her.
She recalls, "I am a very cat-like curious person, even when
I am not thinking actively, I am looking for answers. In one
of my counselling sessions my Doctor told me that "Beta,
you will never forget, what you will learn in depression".
It made me think about how can Depression or any illness
teach anything. The journey of exploration started from
there. I looked for answers in a few books, then started
taking up classes and sessions for self-healing. Which
resulted in finding answers and getting me certified in
several alternative healing modalities internationally. I
thought that if this can help and benefit me, it should be
available to everyone in need."
Every Night's Illuminating Dawn
When asked for her inspiration behind venturing into the
business arena, saying that she finds the question
interesting, Anandmai quoted the great philosopher Plato,
"Necessity is the mother of invention," adding that the
inspiration behind The Purple Lotus was the need to heal
herself of the wounds inflicted by the earlier darkest phase
of her past.
The Purple Lotus was established in 2018 by Anandmai
with a vision to make mental and emotional well-being
available to all. The Founder and Life Coach believes,
"We humans are emotional beings and we all need help to
heal from the traumatic events happening in our life.
Keeping a balance between the Mind, body, and soul is the
need of the hour." There were resources available earlier
also but it was not easily accessible and was limited to the
upper level of society only. "We thought if we all have
emotions we all should have access to the resources to keep
us emotionally and mentally fit," she feels.
Defeating the Fear of Failure
Being transparent about the initial challenges she had to
surmount to ensure The Purple Lotus' success rate reached
greater heights, Anandmai shares that she, too, had faced a
similar challenge as every entrepreneur–the fear of failure.
From the conception of an idea to its execution, one tends
to go through myriad emotions - anxiety, doubt, fear,
feeling of instability, bias, brain freeze, and sometimes even
terror. No matter how confident you are about the path to
take next, doubts, big or small, creep in. "I am sure you
have heard even well-meaning close friends and family say,
'Why do you want to take such a risk? Have you lost it? Are
you crazy’?" she says.

She has assisted numerous business organizations with their
brand image consulting activities, ranging from brand
launch to developing effective marketing strategies and
rebranding existing organizations.
Anika is a multifaceted professional who works as an image
and brand consultant, fashion consultant, nutritionist, and
corporate trainer. Through her brand-building strategies, she

Anika completed her image consulting education at The
Tiara Institute in Pune, where she earned an MBA in
Human Resource Management and Information Technology

Dr. Dipti founded IEL Institute of Educational Leadership
in 2019 primarily because her daughter encouraged her to

Finezt Finance Consultancy Pvt Ltd, a modified version of
Finezt Finance aimed primarily at financial inclusion and

Dr. Dipti had always wanted to run her own business. This

reative passion is an ardent desire of an innovation-
hungry mind and a transformation-thirsty heart.
Living her childhood dream, V Soumyasri Pawar
reveals that her inspiration behind venturing into the
business arena has been her own journey. And the
realization that Art –whether it is dance, music or drama–is
the strongest communicator prompted her and her team of
Devmudraa to encourage more and more children and
students to take careers in alternative subjects apart from
the regular career options.
According to Soumyasri, the Director of this performing
arts school in Aurangabad, a student with a creative bent of
mind can go for such courses but the fear of lack of
employment in these fields is stopping the parents to enrol
their children in such courses. She informs, "But helping
them get a university degree or diploma and creating new
jobs in this field is our motto. So it is more than a business
for us. It is our mission to give quality education in
performing arts to the students of this area, especially the
Marathwada region."
An Artistic Endeavour
Soumyasri, a Bharatanatyam and Kuchipudi dance artiste,
teacher and choreographer is originally from Hyderabad but
settled in Mumbai and later in Aurangabad since the year
2006. A postgraduate in Bharatanatyam and Choreography
from Nalanda Nritya Kala Mahavidyalaya, University of
Mumbai, presently, she is pursuing her PhD in inter-
disciplinary subjects of Dance and Drama from Dept. of
Performing Arts, Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada
University, Aurangabad. She is also Asst. Professor at the
Dept. of Dramatics and Dance here in the university.
Soumyasri belongs to a family of performing artists in
Hyderabad where three of her paternal aunts are eminent
personalities in the field of classical dances namely
Kuchipudi and Bharatanatyam. "Thus, the seed of the dance
was sown in me when I was a toddler and went on to enrol
myself in a degree course in dance at Nalanda Nritya Kala
Mahavidyalaya affiliated with the University of Mumbai at
the insistence of my Aaunt and Guru Dr Rajyalakshmi Seth
from Mumbai," she states.
Thus began her dance journey and, "Studying at Nalanda
Nritya Kala Mahavidyalaya introduced me to a world of
our vast culture and heritage," she adds.
Staying in a big city like Mumbai opened many
opportunities as well as collaborations, and interactions and
thus Soumyasri met her husband Ramdas Pawar who is an
educationist, poet, writer and artist. She says, "Our teaching
jobs took us to the hills of Mussoorie and Rishikesh in
Uttarakhand to Kanpur in Uttar Pradesh, allowing me to
spread my dance wings." She got many opportunities as a
choreographer, teacher and dance therapist in boarding
schools, Ashrams and colleges. With the vast multi-cultural
exposure and experience behind her, she settled in
Aurangabad in the year 2006 and then began her journey
and main aim of life …
