Association of Management Development Institutions in South Asia (AMDISA) - is a SAARC Recognized Body
with a network of Management Education and Management Development Institutions in South Asia. It has

About the Conference
ICBM – School of Business Excellence, Hyderabad in alliance with AMDISA, IIMP and AMP is organizing International
Case Conference on ‘Rethinking Business in Digital Era’ on Saturday, 16th December 2017. The objective of this
conference is to offer a platform for knowledge exchange between academicians, researchers and corporate
professionals for mutual benefit. In addition to the key note address on conference theme, the conference will
also have talks by eminent experts and presentation of selected case studies.
Call for Case Studies
The unpublished as well as original case studies on the theme ‘Rethinking Business in Digital Era’ are invited from
B-School faculty members, management students, researchers and corporate professionals. The authors can
send either primary or secondary data based case studies at this conference. For participating in the conference,
authors can develop and submit their case study for any of the sub themes mentioned below. It’s important to
note that these sub themes are only indicative and not exhaustive.
 Sales & Marketing  Operations Management
 IT & Systems  Financial Management
 Human Resource Management  Entrepreneurship
Publication Opportunities
All the case studies selected for presentation in the conference will be published in the form of an ISBN numbered
book from a reputed publisher. Apart from publication in book, the winning cases will also be published in the
forthcoming issue of ‘UDAAN – The International Journal of Management Research’ (ISSN: 2347-9256), a bi-annual
referred journal of international repute. This journal has been included by University Grant Commission (UGC),
New Delhi in the list of the UGC approved journals and the research work published in them would be considered
for the purpose of promotion and direct recruitment of varsity teachers in India.
Submission Guidelines
The length of the case study can be a maximum of 5000 words (including appendices). The text should use single
spacing, justified alignment and the Times New Roman font (12 Bold for heading, 11 Bold for sub heading, and
11 for body), with equal margin on all the four sides of the page. For Referencing, authors should follow Harvard
Style. The case study should be submitted along with an abstract (in around 150 words), brief profile of the
authors, and the contact details such as email id and mobile number. Kindly note that lifting someone’s original
work, copying of material/plagiarism will result in to the dis-qualification. The authors should clearly mention
the theme under which they want their paper to be considered. The Selection of Case studies for presentation
and detailed discussion will be based on quality, content and relevance to the selected theme. Electronic copy of
original as well as unpublished case studies in any area of business and management in line with the conference
theme/sub theme should be submitted in MS – Word format to icbmrpc@gmail.com.
