As we all know, YouTube is one of the
most popular sites in the world. This
site is global as everyone uses it.
There are many suggestions to watch
on YouTube giving you a variety of
choices, including adverts before
watching a video. This would be good
for Mark to come across a new film
because he is a very contemporary
with his social life giving him
advantage. This would intrigue him as
he can watch Ads or Trailers
whenever you wants.
Due to the extract we find out that
Mark is a modern person and he uses
Instagram often as the extract explains
that mark stated a girl liked his
Instagram picture. From this
information we can gather that
Instagram will attract Mark and people
similar to him who use Instagram. One
of the ideas my group came up with
was making a Instagram profile and by
following us you can see exclusive
pictures and videos. This will attract
people similar to Mark and increase
the sales at the box office which is
suitable for our target audience.
Big posters are essential in marketing. This is because they raise awareness
due to the message written on the poster and they also attract a lot of
people due to the location it is set. For example, on billboards, bus tops,
Undergrounds etc. This is significant to Mark because he will come across
posters as they are everywhere in public. QR codes are convenient as it
links to posters. This is because we can include special offers and deals if
you use the QR codes when the film poster is advertised and the QR codes
is included.
Social networking sites have
become extremely popular over the
decade and social networking sites
are global. This could be a great way
to attract people as adverts appear
a lot. For instance you could be
browsing through Twitter or
Facebook and a advert for the film
appears, this could raise a lot of
awareness as people could spread
the advert around. From there
companies and institutions can gain
a lot of awareness and popularity
which will enhance and increase
ticket sales in the film industry.
TV Ads & Trailers are really
effective because the
majority of people in the
world watch TV which
attracts a lot of people. For
instance if we were to watch
a Romance Thriller TV series
such as Vampire Diaries and a
Vampire Diaries advert was
being advertised, fans of that
particular genre will attract
and it will grab their
attention.
Interviews with the cast can appeal to specific target audiences because
the cast most likely has a great fan base which could raise more
awareness and attract more people. This is a good way in marketing
especially if the actor is extremely popular as their fans will be drawn into
the actors other films.

For instance you could be browsing through Twitter or Facebook and a advert for the film appears, this could raise a lot of awareness as people could spread the advert around. From there companies and institutions can gain a lot of awareness and popularity which will enhance and increase ticket sales in the film industry.

For instance if we were to watch a Romance Thriller TV series such as Vampire Diaries and a Vampire Diaries advert was being advertised, fans of that particular genre will attract and it will grab their attention.
  • 9. Interviews with the cast can appeal to specific target audiences because the cast most likely has a great fan base which could raise more awareness and attract more people. This is a good way in marketing especially if the actor is extremely popular as their fans will be drawn into the actors other films.
