2. Throughout the process of making our
media product I used different
technologies such as;
Camera
Final Cut Pro
Motion
3. Throughout the process we obviously
used a camera in order to film our film
opening, I had to learn how to use the
camera effectively to get the best
footage possible. This meant researching
the camera online and finding out what
all of the buttons do, this meant I knew
how to use everything on the camera
and resulted in better and clearer shots
in our film opening.
4. In order to edit all of our film opening we
had to be familiar with Final Cut Pro, this
meant I had to go online and research
what all of the different tools do in order to
effectively use the software. After
researching it for a while I was properly
familiar and up to date with the program.
This meant that I was able to edit our film
with good clean cuts opposed to having a
sloppy edited film opening.
5. I have never used Motion before and had
to make title sequences on it for this
project, this meant I had absolutely zero
knowledge on the program. To make my
skills better whilst using Motion I decided to
go on the internet and researched how to
make simple things on Motion. After I got
the beginner skills down I notched it up a
level and learnt how to do all sorts of things,
this was helpful as it helped us make
professional titles for our film opening
instead of amateur titles with no animations.
6. I did a lot of research as I wasn’t familiar
and confident with all of the software
that I needed to use during this project,
this meant going online, asking other
people who are more skilled with it and
progressively and slowly getting better
and better until I felt comfortable with
the software and was able to use them
to the best of my ability.
