You could create a mood board of images related to your product. They could be inspirational or visually interesting.
Analyse what you have gathered.
Decide on content and think about how you will structure your piece – consider the conventions of your chosen
style/genre, think about the best methods to appeal to your audience.
Finally work out a production schedule for the project. Once you have a final proposal, begin to plan how you intend to
realise your project and what you will need to create/collect.
Planning will vary depending on if you are doing a web series, podcast or a fanzine.
Web-series: A script, storyboard, organisational docs and clearance forms for your contributors/sources.
Fanzine: Content outline, visual style, pagination, organisational documents.
Podcast: Script, organisational docs, clearance forms for your contributors/sources.

3. Mood board (or other idea development work):
I have chosen these images because they are the
closest I could find to what my project would look
like. I will ask my interviewers to film certain shots
similar to these images for the video.
All these images seem like they have something to
do with people coping with mental health issues.
Also all the photos are taken at someones house.

4. Content:
• I will tell the people I am interviewing to film certain shots I need, specifically in landscape. I
mainly need them to film them doing one of their hobbies.
• I will give them questions to answer but will ask them to limit the answers to a 20 seconds
due to the time limit I have.
Questions to ask
• What was your greatest concern about going into lockdown?
• Do you think lockdown affected or changed you in anyway? If so how?
• What did you achieve during lockdown?
• If lockdown happened again, would you feel the same way about it?

5. Planning:
• Get actors to interview for the film.
• Get the questions to the actors.
• Ask the actors to record the footage.
• Run through footage and make sure it is suitable
to use.
• Export videos to a device you can edit them on.
• Find music to use in the video.
• Make sure the video isn’t longer than 3 minutes.

6. Production Schedule:
• Write out questions for the actors.
• Ask them what I need them to film.
Day 2-3
• Actors film their interviews.
Day 4
• Actors send me the footage they filmed. (Preferably via email.)
Day 5-7
• Edit all the footage on iMovie.
Day 8
• Hand in project.
