Motion study examines work methods to determine the most efficient way to complete tasks, while time study measures how long it takes average workers to finish jobs. Gilbreth invented motion study designed to
determine the best way to complete a job
 Frederick W. Taylor
-1881, he started to develop time study
Taylor designed Time Study; it measures how long
