Use Of Wind Power On The Environment
The U.S should send someone to time travel back to the past to decrease the release of harmful gases into
the atmosphere and investing in renewable ones. Even though time travel is not possible, when it is, this
idea should seriously be considered. Renewable resources are always readily available, including
hydropower, wind power, solar power, geothermal power and biomass. The use of fossil fuels in theU.S is
too much and needs to be reduced (Stanford 2016). There are many renewable energy sources that we
could switch to. Hydropower and Wind power are some of the easiest and renewable resources ever.
However Wind power is one of the most cost–renewable resources and therefore should be a choice that
people should use. Wind Power should have been harnessed and used widely many years ago. This is why
traveling back in time to support the using of wind power. After traveling back in time, I have decided that
wind energy is the way to go. The world should use wind power, to decrease the very dramatic effects of
global warming that have happened in about 2000 years. Wind power should be used because it is
abundant because wind is everywhere and also it releases no harmful greenhouse gases into the

widely installed even up to 6–8 MW. There is a widespread use of wind turbines in the distribution
networks and more and more wind power stations, acting as power plants, are connected directly to the
transmission networks. As the grid penetration and power level of the wind turbines increase steadily, the
wind power starts to have significant impacts to the power grid system. Therefore, more advanced
generators, power electronic systems, and control solutions have to be introduced to improve the
characteristics of the wind power plant and make it more suitable to be integrated into the power grid.
Meanwhile, there are also some emerging technology challenges, which need to be further clarified and
investigated. The global electrical energy consumption is still rising and there is a steady demand to
increase the power capacity. The production, distribution and the use of the energy should be as
technological efficient as possible and incentives to save energy at the end–user should be set up. The

towers produce a "swishing" or "whooshing" sound that only gets quitter as technology advances. As

It has to be AT LEAST 8.7mph to turn a wind turbine. Another disadvantage about wind power is shadow
flicker it is when the blades of the wind turbine cause a shadow as it turns. It would cause unwanted
repetitive shadows over neighboring houses or buildings, it could be mistaken for power outages or even
